1. Asimov. Doesn't have to be Foundation and friends, his other stuff is a tad easier to get at. Maybe Fantastic Voyage or something. And who knows? I enjoyed the Foundation novels at ~12, so they could perhaps be into it. 2. I just read Podkayne of Mars by Heinlein. That could be interesting to them. 3. Snowcrash. 4. Neuromancer. 5. This is more fantasy, but Philip Pullman's Dark Materials trilogy. 6. This isn't reading, but get them to play through the old Wing Commander games.
I'd like to chime in and say that any way of watching video that uses up 90% of my processor and freezes when I multitask earns nothing but derision from me.
I like Adobe, and I do like Flash in some places, but not for video.
And get something new and awesomer in the skies to replace it.
Something that could get people going wow again would be nice.
Leaving muscle cars in the dust?
Muscle cars would do the quarter mile at some 120-odd mph by the time you hit 60.
I haven't tried rFactor. How well are driving physics modelled?
That is a terrible hack, but then I suppose we are talking about perl after all. =D
So closed source free software is ok?
FCKGW...?
Howdy.
Try out any title made by Simbin on the PC: GTR, GT Legends, GTR2, and RACE.
GTR is FIA GT1 and GT2 cars, like in Lemans.
GTR2 is more of the same.
GT Legends is FIA GTC65, GTC76 and TC65 classes in a game.
RACE I believe is WTCC racing.
They are very realistic and have a pretty active community. They also support a clutch pedal and H-pattern shifter setup, if you have one.
Disclaimer: I don't work for Simbin, I'm just an avid racing sim gamer.
That pretty much sounds like hell to me, having non-organized files.
Heh, the AC might want to sit down. He has just been owned harder than ever before in his life. :P
...why? That part was the funniest in any IJ movie.
Yeah, I'm not touching that vibrator either. Who knows where it has been shoved into.
Vi style commands are used by wankers. :P
I damn nearly pissed myself on that. Well done.
Because what all drivers need, are distracting colors at high speed.
This thread is just a pissing competition of lame jokes.
Mod parent up for really obscure way of making joke.
I've never bought a copy of linux.
Or windows, for that matter.

It's just a start...
And what about their faster models? Will they ditch at the same time? I'm going to miss the sound of the supercharged v8.
you must be new here
At this point, fuck him. Good luck to his kids.
English, motherfucker. Do you speak it?
1) It is a vital resource you can't live without
