All I want to know is how to "maximise" a window in OSX. Pressing that damn green button just streches the screen vertically, but not on the horizontal.
Didn't really have to do much in the lineing up, I just kept adding the next photo on top (and the moon would already be in the right place) and then use a "difference blend".
I don't really know what I'm doing so it took a while to figure out how to do that in photoshop.:)
Perhaps it's already been invented but I would think the exact opposite would be a good idea.
Once you come home with your mobile it senses that it's in range of a basestation and any calls you make from that point on go out over a land line... basicly turning your mobile into a cordless phone.
One address book to update. Maybe calls to your cell could be routed to your landline while you were home as well.
I actually don't have a mobile so I don't quite keep up with these things.:)
For now, but add multiple lasers, increase their scanning speed, etc, etc... Stuff you could expect happening anyways....
And someday you could have a 3D "photo". Complete scan done in 1/60 of a second - statue to take home while you wait.
Awkward family albums ensue.... "Look Kids, Mom really was a hottie!" "Little Stevie, it's o.k. to be curious, but don't touch your mother's statue there..."
Because the ones that like Ep. 1 & 2 where children.
:-)
Heck, I *enjoyed* the movies and I can tell they're crap. But I'm a sucker for lightsabers.;)
It's like that news story a month or so ago about the cow/goat/whatever that ate the bag of diamonds. You know you're looking through crap but it's worth it for the sparkles.
Why base it on trains? Why not cars? People could get in their cars at home, drive to a station and then link with other cars to form a high speed chain. Whenever you get to your stop, you disengage and pull out. Automatically of course.:)
I rememember reading an artical somewhere (Slashdot?) which took this basic concept and then "skined" it.
For a jungle theme, processor load would be determined by how many crickets you hear, every time CodeRed tapped upon your port you'd hear a fly buzzing and the more traffic you were seeing the louder the tribal drums could be heard in the distance.
Imagine that in 5.1;)
A project I always wanted to build consisted of a small motor on the ceiling with a string attached. The more traffic your network is seeing the fast the motor spins. High loads look like a cut electrical wire in a movie. The project/art-thing was called "Live Wire.":)
But I don't have skills in the areas needed for that.:-(
Another niffty thing you can do is brush your teeth with a electric toothbrush... the vibrations travel up your skull into your eyes.. I glanced at my monitor from across my apartment and I thought the thing was about to burn out...:-)

:-?
Would really help on a 800x600 screen.

That is truly awesome!!
This http://www.deviantart.com/view/11794545/ (As I've pimped in another post) is what I was able to take from my balcony in Ottawa.
While it might not be that great, I took this picture(s) on my balcony in Ottawa. You might like it more.

Set the camera up on a tripod and let it do all the work.

Um... Ken Ralston was a visual effects guy for Jedi and New Hope.
Are you sure you don't have subtitles for the commentary turned on?
I believe the idea is that Ctrl-Alt-Del is hardwired at the lowest possible level, and that other programs can't use that key combo.
If I remember correctly, it's called something like a "secure path" or something.
I have no proof that it does or doesn't work.
You are not a patron for simply sitting in front of the building with your card in your pocket.
Um... why not?
Judge my Photography.
:o)
I judge your photos to be the high side of average, but they're still better then mine.

Yeah, I've heard that, but I don't really believe it.
I'm the same only because I wouldn't trust the LoTR set to be the final... there'll always be another "New and Improved" DVD set around the corner...
What does this mean for GStreamer, which, as I understand it, has similar goals and is being used by quite some OS software already.
Well... Helix is a much cooler name then "GStreamer", so I'm guessing Helix will get all the attention from here on out.

Then you're not really right-wing, are you?
Yeah, I'm shutting up now.

Actually, I love it! Anytime I meet an American (Die-Hard) Republican I spring the line: "Castro is an American."
:-)
Lot's of fun...
*sigh*
:-)
Growing up in St. John's and hearing one after another *canadian* artist announce a cross Canada tour.... "That's right! Vancouver to Halifax!!!"
Now that I'm on the mainland the idea of going to a concert is alien to me...

I'm sorry, is this where I'm suppose to say:
"You must be new here."?

I don't know... even if we could just get their television I think it would be interesting to watch their news...
Think of it this way, if we watch a planet destroy themselves one alien newscast at a time, it might help us to keep us from destroying ours...
???
Yet, highly compressable... ;)
Then again, my ISP charges an another $10-$15 for an extra IP address... I'll keep NAT for now. :)
