    At an University, are Students considered employees?
    No in most cases.

    I would say distributing to Students would count as
    distributing outside the organization.
    Especially if a usage few was involved.

    You must understand that bug tracking for
    Microsoft might have issues. What is the normal
    max number of bugs per application; I can see MS
    exceeding the normal range tested in Open

    I agree; I think Terry Childs should have asked for a legal release saying he was not responsible for any damage to the network caused after x date and time and handed over the password. I can even agree with them keeping him under light confinement (if there was good cause to think he might damage the system till the password was changed). Tim S.

    It is best to never threaten with
    a weapon you do not intend to use.

    If I point a gun at a person and
    say get out of my house.

    And he steps towards me, it is a
    justifiable action to shoot to kill.

    Unless you are an idiot or a marksman
    you should never shoot to wound.

    but, most of those judges just do low level things
    like Marriages and civil cases (Small claims, etc.).

    I use AstroGrep on Windows http://astrogrep.sourceforge.net/.
    You only need right to create the folder and copy the exe into that folder no installation necessary.
