I did www.corky.ltd.uk since www.corky.co.uk was taken. Let it lapse as LinkedIn is better for what I want. I can always get it back whenever I want since I own "Corky and Co ltd" in the UK..ltd.uk was a very good idea, guaranteed to be free from squatters or name clashes as it is basically a copy of the companies house register which every company goes through before it can start trading. Bit since there's no money to be made from squatting and trading there is no money to promote it and.co.uk gets the attention.
> expecting a new colleague: a female one. It is guaranteed that there will be remarks, double entendres and innuendos with huge potential of getting worse.
Don't worry, most women will not subject you to any remarks, double entendres and innuendos, they will probably behave just like all the other geeks around you. Give women a chance!
While we're on the subject of copying and law can the US please post a notice stating that their legal system was a copy of the UK's but they have been busy changing it for 200 years and it no longer infringes. Right under the HOLLYWOOD sign would be a good place.
Easy - when the server NTP clock goes haywire then all the device synced to it will follow. It's unlikely but you can't rule out bugs in the NTP server. Better to have a clock that increments fairly accurately (quartz crystal in the device) and has an offset than a clock you can't trust.
If I'm on life support and getting fed a drug at a certain rate to keep me alive I would like that rate to be accurate. I don't care what time the machine thinks it is.
Because all of the employees that get a lower salary due to the agreement are also consumers. It also indicates that the companies are not interested in competing with each other to produce the best products by recruiting the best talent.
Have you actually been there? London is dark grey and grimy, The sky is completely grey. If you overexpose that you get grey buildings, white sky and the only thing with paint on it is the bus. I don't think overexposing counts as art.
I've gone to Sky, proper unlimited broadband that's a bit faster than a BT line since they are using their own equipment after purchasing Easynet + free phone calls (not to mobiles) + line rental at £26 per month. First bill came in at £29 after calls too mobiles. I was with Orange and getting a £38 bill per month. BT would be the same.
It's a cost sensitive product so people will move around.
I do digital design for a living and spend my money shot time looking a waveform traces. The wider the screen the better. It's also nice to be able to put a full page of a spec next to the RTL I'm writing.
Well if you look for the IP address of tpb.pirateparty.org.uk and paste that into your browser it may work. I wouldn't know.
and you won't be in this car.
When I read that I heard it in a shrieking Scottish accent. Well done.

I've always though the third law to be daft. No-one is going to buy a robot that might destroy itself.
And anyway how do you punish a robot that has not protected its own existence?
It's called slashdot.org
If you're finding it difficult you are doing it wrong. Try asking for help from someone more experienced.
Exactly, it's taken about 60 years to organize this Diamond Jubilee, who knows how long the next one will take to arrive.

Desk lamps! in a call centre? It's going to be hell with strip lighting. Still I'm sure they could bring their own USB powered LED light.
Posted from work (but using my own proxy thanks).
But what about dick size?
Just moves the crime so its haydn somewhere else.

You should try this out, hopefully you won't have any endian problems.
For the Verilog inclined, diamorphine === heroin.
Sign that kid up.
They all bounce off a skull without endangering life. A cricket ball is hard.
I'm only 3 away from Kevin Bacon so that's me sorted.

I'll see your six acres and raise it four. And I do call it a field. And it's too steep for a sit on mower so I use ponies!
