He did live a comfortable life, with lots of restaurant visits, as I understand. But he died at a gym, after he resolved to get in shape, possibly after overdoing a strenuous exercise. I think one of his friends later remarked that it was typical of him to go for something at full speed as soon as he had made up his mind to do it. He just went at it a little too hard that time.

FFE was indeed released with an enormous amount of bugs. But once it was patched, which happened quite quickly, it was a gem. It had a storyline you could follow if you wanted, but if not, the entire Milky Way galaxy was yours to play with. There was a freedom of play that I've yet to see in any other game. But is seems ED will follow suit - without the bugs.

The first thing I will do then is buy a number of spammy links to be sent to my competitor's otherwise entirely white-hat site that currently ranks in 1st, thus making sure his excellent site never troubles me again. Meanwhile, he's too honest to do the same to my site, so I benefit. This is called negative SEO and is not new. It's the reason Google haven't done what you suggest.
