    start it with something they can relate to and understand. then you can explain how servers relate to that. then you can explain how servers work and what you need to do to servers to keep em chugging along!

    explain what could happen when things go wrong, and how this would effect them. keep it simple and fun, say stupid things that will make them laugh. have fun with it yourself

    Are you referring to the 100Hz part?

    44kHz is used because we ideally hear frequencies up to 22kHz, and to sample 22kHz you need twice the sampling rate to transfer the on/off waveform state.

    Wheres your own scientific evidence that driving lessons in a car is alone as effective as driving lessons in a car + problem solving skills from math.

    Maths makes heavy use of reason and logic when applies in a very fundamental way to solving just about any situation ever. It stands to reason that mathematical problem solving will develop general problem solving doesn't it?

    Its so backwards. they must look at the reduced sales from DRM and say "the pirates are pirating more than ever! we need more drm!!!" when in reality they are encouraging their own failure.

    In the long run it doesn't matter a whole lot because being so incompetent opens up opportunity for a new up and comer who 'gets it' to grab everyones attention and loyalty. Happens in any and every industry.

    I was under the impression that brain size was more or less linear to the amount of nerves (eg sensations, muscle activators) in the animal. Elephants have a lot of mass to feel things with and therefore a lot of brain. Doesnt mean they are doing my homework though

    well you started off pedantic, but im pretty sure they are both sci-fi writers.

    sure they are not in the same sub-genre but i dont see a problem in comparing authors between genres in the first place.
