Errol Morris' documentary on nature/humanity/everything is facinating and compelling, and is sure to get both adults and children thinking. As a bonus, his documentaries don't skimp on the visuals, so you get lots more than just talking heads
...and I liked Solaris a lot, but I have no doubt that it's anywheres near as good or thought-provoking as Primer, probably the best "pure" sci-fi film since 2001: A Space Odyssey. Featuring no action scenes (a rarity for a film that people categorize as sci-fi), and a mind-bender of a plot, and most importantly, logical turns instead of twists.
Don't forget about A Scanner Darkly either, which was much mroe faithful to the spirit of Phillip K. Dick than Spielberg's Minority Report which turned a compelling premise into a boring, bloated, and simplistic action/thriller picture.
I don't really follow local or state politics as well, but I would say to vote, just in case P. Diddy decides to actually go through with his "Vote Or Die" pledge from a couple years ago.
I don't think so. She's more in the style of Edward Norton, someone who doesn't let the movie get in the way of her performance. Brian Cox and Chloe Sevigny, now those are some subtle actors.
While it not only confuses me (less aborted babies = more kids in school = more teaching jobs)
Try thinking of it this way, though (less aborted babies = more kids in school = larger class sizes = less attention paid to individual students = decreased teaching efficiency)
or
(less aborted babies = more unwanted kids = more neglected kids = more kids with learning problems = more disruptive kids = worse conditions in the classroom)
If Speilberg directed Pong, the two paddles would be parents and the square would br more drawn to the mother paddle, because the father would be emotionally distant. In the end, the little square breaks free of the smothering of its parents and learns to live & love again.
I'm just curious, where is going to the movies going to cost 30 dollars
I live in upstate new york, and its 9.75 for a ticket at the mall. I think this is about normal for giant multiplexes, but lets say that it's low and that a ticket costs 15. What theater is going to charge 10 bucks for popcorn, and 5 for a drink? The most expensive I've ever seen is 6.75 for popcorn and 3.50 for a drink and those came with free refills.
the parent is modded funny, but Jackass is a documentary. No scripts, no actors, no cgi. Its a chronicle of bored, white, middle-class, suburban youth, and what they do.
It's like Matt Groening's great cinema paradox:
the french are funy
sex is funny
comedy is funny
yet no french sex comedy is funny

Telling jokes you didn't make up yourself is not, and have never been illegal
Which is too bad, because we are now stuck with Carlos Mencia and Dane Cook.

Want to sell a whole CD? Write worth-while stuff
What do you mean by worth-while stuff? And do you have any advice on how to accomplish this writing?
Forget about Sudan, I feel bad for Florida. This is a disaster from which they may never be able to recover.
If the Nuge were here, he'd be up in arms!

Herpes. College students don't want that either.
I've been out combing the high schools all day!
On a serious note, Curtis "Booger" Armstrong does fine voiceover work on Stroker & Hoop.
I would freak out if I had to look down (or up) after death and watch my mother in law clean out my wife
Are you saying you would freak because you missed the opportunity for a hot, pseudo-incestuous 3-way?
I think Chuck Berry's eyes just opened a wide as they can.
it does come with a lifetime supply of condoms (that would be necessary for someone buying this set).

The U.S. hit puberty and Oregon got the country's first zit
One time i tried to plant a camping tent on gravel.

I think UPS' slogan says it all: "what can brown do for you?"

can it run doom3?
it should have been
dumb-dumb-dumb-dumb-da-dumb-dumb-da-dumb
What bands/artists are you listening to that are only capable of making one good song per album?
This seems more like a problem with the artist and/or the listener. All the CDs I've bought don't contain a lot of filler.
they still won't be able to run doom3, though
