    Coffee or other drink meets keyboard, laptop, etc will mean that a high likelihood of damaged or dead devices due to liquid immersion. I think the insurance for Apple Store increase exponentially due risk of damage due to liquids.

    I assume no one really checked their sources before they printed this (what a dated word "printed") or out on the net. A manual typewriter is still good if the power goes out and you need to make a standardized letter for some reason. We nearly needed to use one this year because our accounting software developer made a mistake in creating 1099 forms this year. Yes, Royal and Olivetti still manufactures manual typewriters so this story is incorrect. There are still are several manufactures of electric typewriters that double as printer for computers .

    However, with this article on PLOS and reading it now it to go beyond mice and go to study on other animals to check so this idea will work eventually on humans. My assumption it will take 3 years before human testing will occur and I will be the first be in line to do the test. It will be another 3 years before it may become available to general public.

    It would be difficult to get VOR/DME or even ADF over the ocean. LORAN was turned off on August 2010 so limited but the last global terrestrial radio navigation system shutdown . eLORAN is active in UK but that is limited to that area now. We need another method of global terrestrial radio navigation system to augment GNSS if there was some problem with satellites due to solar activity or other issues.

    What I have seen on my firewall and I think there are plenty of IP addresses that botmasters, spammers and other criminals have used to hit my network. If ISP, and network administrators looked at all of the DHCP, unallocated IP address that comes from their networks they would have thousands of IP address they re-allocate to proper people or systems. Proper accounting of IP address by ISP needs to be priority before we can really say we ran out IP addresses.

    Scary that that the high court of Mumbai thinks astrology is a science because it shows that the high court's members lack of understanding facts and reality. I would not trust any decision made by this court since do not take facts and reality as evidence.
    However, I could see all of the fraudsters, embezzlers, and other criminals will come to Mumbai to incorporate and use its weak legal justice system to do their crimes. Now I wouldn't do business with any company that would have my financial information since they have such a weak legal system. I hope that a higher court would overturn this nonsense decision.

    Since MS Windows has the largest share of the operating systems in the world, hacker just need to one set of code that will work on 90% of the machines of the world would least amount of work for largest "spread" of systems in the world. Also hackers has taken advantage so many of these MS Windows systems are un-patch and don't have any type anti-malware program so they just exploit bugs in MS Windows. Finally, hacker has created so much Trojan horse or hacked legitimate programs for the MS Windows environment and so many people look for "free" programs on the internet so hacks just put these "free" Trojan horse programs and the hacker take over the MS Wiindows system.
    However, now most hacker have concentrating on cross site scripts issues in web and other network based attacks. Also other operating systems like the Mac or Linux give a new challenge to these hackers for them to exploit.

    I wished that I had more than one person here so I can take a good vacation without worries about systems at the office. Also for the other person so they can take real vacation also.
    In this "dismal" economy, I wish that are companies that are willing to hire more than one competent & trustworthy person per shift (if they shifts) so that people can (if they want) have a personal life.
    Let me see reality first of companies willing to hire & keep competent & trustworthy people so they can distribute work properly so that no one is a "dictator" of the system.

    There is really no harm in actual fusion reactor with what limited raw materials to create fusion for most people could get. The problem of most fusion reactors is getting the first "spark" or ignition to get the fusion process started. After ignition the other problem maintain the fusion process.

    I used to work in a building that also had the FEMA and they would get a "bomb threat" and we would evacuate the entire building and we would leave for the day so that police could investigate. After awhile we noticed these bomb threats would happen in afternoon of nice days and Fridays so we guest that someone didn't want to work that afternoon or wanted a long weekend so they would call a "bomb threat". After FEMA moved out of the building and the bomb threats stopped that we knew that someone at FEMA was doing this.

    since 9/11 now all of the world air traffic are well monitored and any aircraft this sized will be found with all of world resources at it disposal to prevent another occurrence of 9/11. If there was "hidden" island in the world they will find that airplane and it all people (alive or dead) and as many pieces of the plane to ensure they have found the plane so the aircraft won't be used for ill will.
    This show started to have a "good" idea then went off the deep end of reality so I stopped viewing awhile back.

    Sounds like Apple is getting the local police to be their Gestapo for their corporate use and this is not good. This should be an interesting fight for this shield law since this is the second time that Apple is on the other side of this legal fight.
