This is only the lectures, the most boring stuff it will help the students that missed (or slept through) that lecture. Most important part of learning occurs in the lab. Also having contact with other people in lecture hall that may help understand what professor or teaching aid said.
Now I work for with these professors so understand why is it so confusing to all of the students.
Here is a very interesting analogy. OJ Simpson claimed that in Las Vegas that when he went to the hotel to "take back what he owned". Under most state laws that you can't be charged for "stealing" back your own stuff if it was taken from you illegally. The usage of a weapon to do this is another issue beyond the scope of this forum.
Sony/BMG says if you rip your paid for CD so you can put in you media device (ie iPod) and they claim this is illegal is completely insane. Fair Use provision in DMCA allows people to copy files, music, etc for personal backup and as long this backup copy is not being shared with other people. I think Sony/BMG wants to charge you for each type of media form that you use for same thing to get a better revenue stream.
I work in the city of Berkeley, CA and I know it will never work here since some of the population is on some form of hallucinogen drugs and people yelling at nobody is "normal" behavior.
I have an HP-41C and someone at the astronomical observatory made an LED light that plugs into the expansion slot on the top. Obviously this drained the battery faster but you can see the display at night to setup the telescope. It is a pity after all of these years the standard calculator still doesn't have a backlight. However, I now use a Palm PDA to do the same thing as my HP-41C and it has an backlight.
Yes, they can listen to my phone calls to those "hot" sites. We in the SF Bay Area have a interesting issue now that people with those automatic toll taking devices called "FasTrack" the people, like me, with a older transponder have a older 800 phone number that is written on it that now calls a phone porn site. They have a new number now but the people with the older units still have that old 800 phone number. They can listen in at anytime when I call the old 800 phone number if they need some sexual assistance.
Several weeks ago I had to buy a system from a local brick & mortar store because one of our accounting systems was beginning to fail. However all of the systems were preloaded with Vista and the company that developed our accounting software wasn't "certified" that is would work on Vista yet. So I had to buy Windows XP erased the preload Vista and then migrated all of the files from the old system and it started right up.
This made me think, why does a hardware manufacture have to load the OS on the system. I know there is some stupid marketing agreement between MS and the HW manufacture but shouldn't the buyer have some say in which version of OS they have to load? I know that Vista is the latest and greatest but like other major OS updates in other operating systems developers the applications and hardware drivers may not work when upgraded so like most IT dept and people I have to wait for the application to be "certified" for Vista.
MS and the HW manufactures need to stop forcing us to buy only certain configurations in stores and have some flexibility in buying HW.
User replaceable battery.
Can be used on more than one carrier (ie. Not only GSM-GPRS-EDGE but CDMA or other technologies)
User installed applications.
External storage media (ie SD card).
User replaceable internal storage.
How many people in their lifetime ever actually handle urea nitrate anyways? In my previous career I used to handle explosives and most explosives your don't want to handle with your bare hands since most of them are a health hazard also, not to mention the blasting power. The nitrates in the most explosives are basal dilators so you turn bright red because all of the blood vessels in your body are opening up. You may identify people that handle explosives this way but alcohol does the same thing so don't count on it.
The music group "Dire Straits" in their song "Money for Nothing" is right. ATT will make money doing nothing except tattle on the mostly legitimate people who use torrents and other P2P sharing information.

Note: I didn't write the lyrics. Please contact Dire Straits direct about the lyrics.
Well now the "rich white people", which most of them can afford to use these services that these cyber-criminals go after, will feel the "pain" of what the black people felt.
However, not all white people are rich and black urban people are poor, I was born in and live in a black urban area for many years so I know what I'm talking about. Now I moved to an suburban neighborhood and now I see the "white" people do the same type of crimes I saw in the black urban area except they did using BMW and other expensive toys. I have learned that it is not what skin color, race, gender, economic status, or whatever you want to categorize people in but one word that Martin Luther King, Jr said, "Character" which defines the person is.
Back to the subject, like one person said about why they rob banks and their answer is "It is where the money is" and this is same for the cyber-criminals, they break into these weakly defended systems to take "money", in this case personal information, so they can open accounts in "rich" people's stead.
Unfortunately the size of the Soyuz spacecraft return module is the real factor here in which the space station uses and an "lifeboat". The current Soyuz spacecraft was really designed for two people only and they added the third person for a possible mission to the moon in the 1960's but they didn't change the dimensions of the spacecraft. I seen the inside the of the real return module of Soyuz spacecraft and it small compared to the Apollo spacecraft. Most SUV's or even some large cars have more interior space than the return module of the Soyuz spacecraft. Since the return module of the Soyuz spacecraft is bell shaped with a circle on the bottom where the crew sit, the guy in the middle circle gets a large amount of space but he is the commander of the spacecraft usually a Russian and the two guys either side of the commander is in chord of the circle which is smaller and if they are over 6 feet tall they have to scrunch inside with their knees near their face. Normally the return module is filled with all of the stuff of the astronaut/cosmonaut that is going or leaving the space station if they are changing astronaut/cosmonaut for the space station so that module is like that of a college kid's Ford Focus filled with their belongings at the beginning of the school year to bring to the dorm.
I hope they will increase the size limitations in the next generation of spacecrafts that Russia and US are developing so we can have a little bigger range of people that can go to space.
That guy started well enough but when into a rant about something that cannot be changed and would be a waste of time changing since the presidential election is in 2008. He did go over his alloted time so he should have stopped at that point but he wanted to press his point and refused to leave even asked gently at first and they allow them to do this for a few minute he kept on ranting about that book. The police took him with him struggling and still ranting and the police should have restrain him better since he appeared to still be moving freely after they had him. Restrain without using weapons of any kind, tasers and PR-24's included, is the normal procedure. After properly restraining him, they should have moved him to another location out of the auditorium to minimize the impact of the existing forum.
In short the guy should have made his point in the alloted time and the police should have better restrained him after his refusal to stop to allow others to speak.
I'm one of those defend free speech is a right to everyone but without using that free speech to harm or to interfere anyone.
When you die all fluids and other materials come out.
This type of endurance video gaming is sort of silly IMHO. However I read recently this stuff is big money so I assume people are sacrificing their health and lives for this seems okay... for that individual.
Homeopathy, means that molecules can "immprint" in water. Here is the premise taken to original meaning of homeopathy, when you take one drop chemical and put that into a Olympic sized swimming and then take one from that Olympic swimming pool and then put that into another Olympic swimming pool and continue on several more times. After all of this in theory you get the "Immprint" of the original chemical molecule in that water and that is your homeopathic medicine. I reality there is possibility of one molecule, if that, after all that dilution. I work in a biological research lab and we can measure incredibly small amounts of any sort of chemicals so there is virtually no chemical trace and there is no such thing as "chemical immprinting" in water. This psuedo-science was grandfathered into current medical law so states and US government doesn't go after them.
Putting them into prison is too nice for these female donkey's external orifice. A slow torture of converting all of the spam they made into audio and listening it at 100db on a endless loop (I think they send out enough spam that wouldn't end anyways but just in case) would be sufficient suffering for this person.
I believe that if someone wants to sell their copy of whatever; music, movie, software, etc.; and they don't have backup copy somewhere the other person should inherit all of the rights and privileges associated that music, movie, software.
I remember a very long time ago the other standards like distance and time were defined by very archaic standards like scratches on a long bar for distance and fraction 1/86 400 of the mean solar day for time. Now we use more advance technology to define these measurement but one has remained the same, mass. So we need to use some better standard than a chunk of metal to define mass so like the other people we should use an non-varying and stable standard for this like how many moles of C12 (carbon 12) which is stable.

Stupid, to be more precise.
Remember 2001: A Space Odyssey? They trying to talk to us... rather loudly.

I feel like Mick Jaggar in the song "(I Can't Get No)Satisfaction!" However I wish I had grand-daddy Mick's money and I will get some satisfaction.
