Huge steaming piles of BS.
That said. Buy a diesel, you will get better mileage.
Telus is Evil I tells ya, EVIL!!!!
It was a happy day when they called me to try to convince me to come back after I cut them out of my life.
I told them they would have to take a long hard suck on my *** before I would ever come back to them.
"if you are commuting an 80 mile a day round trip then you should seriously consider moving house or job"
Nice theory. But I own my house, and spend 3.5 hours a day commuting. I couldn't sell my house and afford anything closer, and there are no IT jobs near where I live.
I think old versions should all be made available, just as soon as they are no longer available for purchase.
Then perhaps we would see some actual innovation.
About a year ago I stumbled across WFW 3.11, and DOS 6.22. On a slow day at work I installed them on a recent system.
I must say DOS and Win3.11 fly on modern hardware.:)
Hmmmm, I have been driving for about 25 years and have never been on the receiving end of a road rage incidents.
Perhaps you should reevaluate your driving.:)
The T100 was an awesome machine. I still want one, although so far I have been able to keep myself form spending the money on a toy I will use once or twice.
Which will then end up in the closet with all my other (Must have.) toys, collecting dust.
Imagine for a moment, that there were no cars.
Now imagine a meeting outlineing the features:
Uses a toxic explosive liquid to make it go.
Controlled by a human driver.
Mechanical linkage to a big wheel for steering.
Mechanical/Hydraulic system for slowing down.
Mechanical linkage for speed control.
Capable of speeds over 100 MPH.
Cheep enough that almost anyone can afford it.
Emits toxic fumes in use.
Can you imagine the reaction?
They would laugh you right out of the room.
If they didn't fire the person proposing this, they would probably tell them.
1. Find a safe fuel.
2. A person can't control a vehicle at those speeds.
3. Mechanical linkages can't be made reliable enough for travel at that speed.
4. Mechanical/Hydraulic Needlessly complicated.
5. Millions of people running around in these things? Imagine the mayhem. (They are right about that.)
6. Make it all computer controlled.
You have obviously never worked in marketing.
I am so glad I am a Unix admin. I don't think I could afford to eat on $15-18 am hour.
(Ctrl + Alt + Backspace) and restart the X server without needing to use another computer.

I will still take the old classic $2000

Just download it already. Then they will stop bothering you. :)
A lot of places have laws against wearing masks in public.
To heck with electric cars. I want steam powered cars.

So what am I supposed to do about that?
In the immortal words of Douglas Adams "Anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job."
not to mention plastic surgeons that are freed up to do the "b00b jobs that are the reason we got into this buisness"
There, fixed that typo for you.
MMMMMMmmmmmmm, I miss my daily Thorazine shots.
The machine usually runs Debian, but I thought what the heck, and installed it.

"if you don't trust me, fire me now, and escort me out the building"
I have been telling my boss' that for years. Haven't been fired yet.

Because every time something of mine is missing it is usually under the sofa.
In the words of the great philosopher, "Nuke 'em till they glow. Then shoot 'em in the dark."
Words to live by.

You are overlooking the "safety Nazi" effect.
