    My morning coffee:

Heat water in a tea kettle.

Use Columbian beans, 1 heaping teaspoon per breakfast cup of water.

Grind the beans into a fine powder (I like a little mud in the cup)
      in an electric grinder.

Dump the coffee grounds into a French press.

Pour in the water when it is just off the boil.

The process of pouring the water will stir the grounds, there is no need to use a spoon.

Let the French press sit for 1 minute, and then put the lid on and slowly press the plunger.

Pour my cup almost full and then top it off with milk.

It beats the hell out of pre-ground coffee and paper filters, mostly because it doesn't taste like you are drinking newspaper.

Mother-in-law is well past 60 and had never owned a computer until a few years ago when I handed her an old 500 mhz Gateway Solo with Ubuntu 8.04

Only time I got a support call was when she was mucking about with the settings on the bottom panel, helped her get it sorted over the phone.

That machine lasted about a year and then crapped, so I ordered her a 1.0 ghz Thinkpad.

She insisted on Ubuntu 8.04, turns out she had upgraded to 9.10 without telling me and wanted the original interface back. When I asked if she wanted XP she gave me a dirty look.

Since then the only support I have done is to walk her through installing the Bibletime software and loading an appropriate version of her preferred religious fantasy (KJV).

    She hasn't looked back.

    From the Wikipedia link:

Hubbard detailed his rules for attacking critics in a number of policy letters including one often quoted by critics as "the Fair Game policy." This allowed that those who had been declared enemies of the Church, called "suppressive persons" or simply "SP," "May be deprived of property or injured by any means...May be tricked, sued or lied to or destroyed." (taken from HCOPL Oct. 18, 1967 Issue IV, Penalties for Lower Conditions )

    Sounds kind of Masonic.

All they need to throw in is "Admit nothing, deny everything, and make counter-accusations." and Hiram would give them all a great big hug-from-behind.
