Just want to say thanks for an intelligent comment regarding religion. So often on here there are highly opinionated people with a opinions that are about as useful as a condom vending machine in the Vatican. But I want to bring up another point. If the court case dealt with any other religion other than the Christian faith, there would be public outcry. Christians are the only religion that is socially acceptable to attack. Any others are "hands off". I've seen this happen, most of the time because its popular.

Last year I was in the same position. We have some very stuck in the Windows rut people. So upgrading to a Mac or Linux build OS were out of the question. You have to keep applying but they do still offer a charity copy of windows 7. You just need to be persistent. Or go through a local MS authorized dealer. Not the big box store, but someone who works on servers for charities or businesses. That's how I was able to acquire the 5 licenses I needed.

Having no cable is one thing, but what of the people who also like to get news, sports and other Live feeds? Netflix can't offer you that. I'd be bitching too. But then again, I'm one of those who like my cable service and all the many live coverage events it offers me. (and I hate streaming movies. Quality sucks monkey balls) So in any case... its $50 (or whatever you're paying) plus the extra $16 for a streaming service that keeps jacking the price with no new releases.

A year ago I was in Manitoba, I had to drive home to Ontario, the shortest route was through the states. So, Thats the route that I took. That was almost a huge mistake. I was stopped at the boarder, my car searched, questions were asked, "Why are you entering the US?" "Its the shortest way home" "How long will you be here?" "15-16 hours" "You said you had no weapons in your car. How do you explain this knife and axe?" "Well officer, the Knife is a fillet knife from my tackle box, Therefore its fishing gear. And the axe, (not the shampoo, but more like a hatchet) is part of my camping gear." "Oh, Ok. What is the purpose of your trip into the states again?" "To get home faster" "And where is this again?" "Southern ontario". it went on like this for about half an hour. and after that, i had to pack everything into my car again. All in all, i was stopped at the boarder for 2+ hours. I'm a perfectly normal looking (altho i'd been camping for 3 weeks and looked like grizzly addams) guy. No criminal record, no drugs, nothing. But because of my last name, i was held up. (my uncle has the same problem at that crossing). so, yeah, If Canadians (America's so called #1 friend and ally) can't get across easily, or even in good time, then its a damn good reason Chicago didn't get it.

I was kept for 3 hours in the garage's two way mirror'd room while they tore my car apart. everything was on the ground and told that i had to pack it away. They asked "do you have any weapons, or any drugs." then i was given the 3rd degree when they found fishing gear. HOOKS ARE WEAPONS the state trooper said. BULLSHIT! the Stinky hippies in the next car in line went right on through. I could smell the pot from 10 feet away. Needless to say, it goes both ways. And I'm pissed about it. But on the positive note, now everyone thinks I'm a terrorist. Especially you're Uncle Sam.

"will it be good for the latest games?" to that i will usually reply, "you're on welfare, you should be happy with what you're given. this is free." but, in the end, it ends up going to the local youth centre.
