A common mistake. Mozilla is actually using metric version numbers, while IE is still using (appropriately enough) Imperial units. So while it may seem that IE is 4.3 better, it is in fact much, much worse. Like, a bunch worse.
When you tought of Kansas, you probably didn't think of space now did ya?
Having suffered through several cross-Kansas drives during Summer vacation trips as a kid, I can tell you there is just about nothing *but* space in Kansas.;)
I did have to write a python script that would work like bbedit's command line tool (with a few of the same options, such as -c), but once that was taken care of I started using it as my primary text editor.
A shortcut for that if you don't mind simple capabilities would be to add an alias to your.bash_profile, a la:
alias see='open -a SubEthaEdit'
Then you can open/edit a file thusly:
see foo.html
which will open the file in SubEthaEdit for editing.
Unless of course one thinks of Linus the Conqueror's chariot's wheels running over the charred bones of his enemies on the ex-Microsoft campus, tossing install CDs to the shell-shocked prisoners of war, then the implications are okay to think about.;)
That's one of the problems with Apple -- if a feature you want doesn't exist within the OS, you basically have to wait for Apple to add it (usually at cost).
Sorry, but this just isn't true. Third-party UI hacks have been a part of Mac going back to the beginning. Some of the best were eventually incorporated into the system by Apple, but were available elsewhere first. See ResExcellence for some examples.
Oh, and there's one other problem with Expose (but this probably only affects me): when you're working with 10 or more windows, it tends to make them really small and put them in a line, rather than (logically) tiling them around the screen. Lots of wasted space, and it's difficult to tell what each window exactly is.
If you move your cursor over each "Exposed" window, it will give you its title.
Unless the range-finder was in fact a laser targeting device picked up by the attack helicopter following you in a support role during your daily commute. This would make cycling even more fun than it already is. Safer, too. [evil laugh]
Metric system. All the plans were in the old Imperial units, and when they changed over in the 70s to metric... well they had to pretty much scrap everything. So blame Jimmy Carter.;)
So this exploit is triggerable using protocol handlers that recognize ssh:// and pass the args to ssh. Anyway you can get the bogus_file on the local host is fine.
Which is why you can use the above method to disable ssh:// (or any other URI protocol) handling completely.

"That's quite a musical instrument you've got there!"
"Thanks, I just had it tuned."
All Kwik-E-Mart employees must be skilled in the deadly arts. ;)
Sorry, not classic enough. Gimme "Ancient Art of War" or give me death! First program I ever used on a Mac, and that in 1986.
Kids these days...

Off the top of my head, what about Jeff Goldblum's character in Jurassic Park?
my wife has, on more than one occasion, insisted that I ditch my vt220, but I can't bring myself to just chuck the thing... too many memories
;)
You really shouldn't talk about your wife that way.
17.5% alcohol by volume, baby!
Er, wait, you're talking about email, huh?
Never mind, then, carry on... [hic!]
Kinda hard to miss honestly
Kinda hard to miss this in the submission:
I thought I would find a number of driving simulator/educators for teens at home.
Gran Turismo isn't a driving simulator/educator and doesn't cover "four-way-stops and passing on a double yellow line." Gran Turismo is a racing game.

I've gotten used to these rehashes of the same lame jokes,
;)
In Soviet Russia, lame jokes rehash you.
Nah, it'd have to be Pong. Or Breakout. ;)

especially considering Internet advertising revenue was at a record 2.3 billion
;)
How much you wanna bet that $2.2 billion of that was pr0n?
Well, double-dumbass on you!
Incrediably cool at first, for about 3 minutes, then you realize how retarded you look waving a plastic stick with mouse ears on. :(
;)
You know, in another context, this would be even more disturbing than it already is.

Reminds me of Blues Brothers:
"What kind of music do you usually have here?"
"Oh, we got both kinds. We got Country *and* Western!"
Never mind the posters, where are the maidens themselves? Do you get those with a $100,000 donation? ;)
