Not a bad idea at all if you give me the game for free. Kinda like every other thing I have with advertisements. I refuse to buy something and have to pay for it after I've paid for it. I don't buy shirts with advertisements on them. I don't buy TV shows with advertisements on them (that's right, no cable and somehow by some great miracle I'm still alive). And, I won't buy games with advertisements on them. (Now, if only movies didn't have ads, I might purchase those rather than waiting a couple months and going to the library.) But, if it makes the game free (as it sometimes does my clothes and TV shows) then I might get the game (if I'm interested enough).
"This is not a risk we would recommend our friends and families take." The Microsoft representative further stated that "Allowing your children to use the Internet Explorer program is tantamount to child abuse. In fact, we're not so sure that anyone installing this is truly capable of feeling love. What kind of heartless monster would willingly install this on their loved ones' computer?"
I have a first generation Sega Genesis. That's the oldest piece of working hardware. The oldest piece of hardware I have is a VideoWriter. Unfortunately the vertical fly on the display is bad so I'll have to try and fix that.
Mozilla Firefox is behind the times. Opera has a GUI therefore making Firefox obsolete software that should only be installed on geeks computers and they should keep their dirty trash to themselves.
But the Impulse engine connects once and never again until moved to another pc. Therefore, you could log in on one computer, and that computer remembers that it's logged in. Then, you can log in on another and your friend stays logged in and so do you because your computer never checks to see if it's inactive. (I'm not suggesting that you do this, I'm just saying it's possible.)
Ain't nothin' like givin' a company money for somethin' in order to stop them from doin' it. Yeah. That'll really show em. And using Noscript and Cookie Monster definitely won't show em at all. Actually stopping their program from even seeing your browsing habits won't give them the money to show them that their actions aren't profitable, because they really wan't to never see a profit. Yeah, they're scared of money. Oh, wait... Hold on a sec... I believe everything I just said was really stupid. Maybe. Nah. You show em. That's right. Throw money their way. Stick it to the man.
Accurate to within 44 centimeters? That's enough the make it the person sitting next to me. Not to mention that it won't say who recorded the movie because you can get up and move to another seat at any time. Not as though the theater could even tell who was sitting where in the first place. The technology is useless because it points out nothing useful.
No, we're not. We're living in the present and everything we do is part of the past. I hate it when people say we're living in the future. It sounds ridiculous.
If you have to maintain logs for two years, but generally need to fresh reinstall at least once a year (in my experience) then it should be illegal to use windows?
Yeah, I guess maybe Linux needs a nice user friendly interface to fix problems like windows. Seems like every time I have a problem with windows, when I call that 1900 number for tech support they always tell me to open the registry editor. Boy, that registry editor is so much more user friendly. And whenever I need to install something searching the internet for the installer and then running through the wizard where you have to click next a gazillion times and reboot and then close all the new nagboxes is so much easier than just typing "apt-get install [name-of-program]". Yeah, windows sure is better. Nice that it generally runs slow enough that I can keep up with it. Man, love that registry editor. Nothing like a thousand clicks to replace a good ol' trip to gedit and changing part of a line in a file. And I love overpaying for tech support too. Yep, sure am glad I never have to type 1 or 2 lines in bash once in a random occasion (and yes, it is possible to go without for normal use (mint, not ubuntu. more stuff works in mint.)). RegEdit is so much better indeed.

I do agree. When I was in the 6th grade, my school decided to put a computer in every desk (yes, I said in not on. There some serious ventilation issues, but that is beside the point.) We used to never pay attention in class because we were too busy playing minesweeper/FreeCell. The computers didn't really help our education much.
Because we all know that before there were video games, nobody killed anyone. There were never any problems with murder. Down throughout history, we have had a Utopian society but once video games were invented people started killing each other like crazy. It actually makes sense that he wouldn't know his parents would die if they were killed because he probably didn't learn that from his history class.
Really though, I think that he had his toys taken away from him and he got pissed and killed his parents, knowing they would die and since he wasn't getting his game back anyway, he decided to blame it and claim that he didn't know they would die after he killed them.
You could use No-Script and not whitelist google-analytics.com. Also, while you're at it, get cookie monster and once again, don't enable google.
Ooh, ooh, I wanna be cool and popular. Why is /THIS/ modded funny!?!?!?!?!?!?!?.
Dang, where's the confused smiley button.
My dragged windows don't tear. They wobble.
So that we all don't end up being as socially backward as Barclay.
Wait? No Condoms?
If you're actually throwing a Windows 7 party, you aren't going to have any use for condoms.
Balmer, you really need to get some exercise!
Yes, Ballmer, throw us some more chairs!

Baker says Chrome Frame's browser-in-a-browser will confuse users and render some of their familiar tools useless.
Kinda like IETab in Firefox?
How does it feel to have a big bad company with a near monopoly in one market (Google in search) threaten your stake in a different market (browsers)?
Yes... because Microsoft makes piles of money off of Internet Explorer.

You idiot, you got my mind stuck in an infinate loop. Stupid n00bs writing sentences.
In an unrelated news, Stallman has just announced that he's joining Microsoft.
in related news, windows 7 goes open source.
Truely 2009 will be the year of the linux... er... open source desktop.
