Just another way for the police department to pick the low hanging traffic enforcement fruit. Too bad the sequester didn't knock "public safety's" budget more heavily.
It's hard to do, but if you really want to have a body that you aren't ashamed of then you have to work for it. I never went to the gym prior to this year. I ended up getting twelve sessions with a personal trainer who helped me get the form right. Once I got some level of fitness acquired from that, we made a routine for every other day and a nutrition plan for bulking up.
You have to go to the gym with a plan in mind as to what you want. For me, i've always been tall and skinny. The ultimate curse. For me to over come my powerful metabolism, I had to go against conventional strength training advice because my body isn't like everyone else. I eat roughly 3500+ calories a day. I get up at 6 or 6:30am, shower, take the bus to work, and am fortunate enough to have a gym in the basement of my office building. I work out for an hour which really helps make the day better, shower again, and go to work. I eat 5 meals a day.
The gains are slow, but the immediate effect of feeling 100% better is noticeable. I live in the shittiest city in the world (Boston) and between the lack of sunlight and bitter cold, the gym helped pull me out of some winter sadness. Seriously, it's not hard to start a 3 day routine. Getting the will power to go is all it takes, but once you start going you will eventually start feeling guilty about not going to the gym.
Since when did South by Southwest become a tech conference? I find it interesting that all of these technology gurus are talking at a music festival. What's next, Ballmer speaking at Bonnaro?
It's crap like this that I bet is pushing Google to roll out their own fiber. With crap like this and the entrenched nature of ISPs and media companies, I look forward to the day Google's vast walled garden pushes out players like this. I'd rather be in a Google Garden than a Comcast, Orange, or worse. Too bad competition isn't fostered taking one turd for another.
As with anything, moderation is key. As I remember from my college days there are a few times where I got so out of it I was couched locked and did not want to do anything.
The typical drug war debate aside, I personally wouldn't toke up every time I had to program. I know how it affects me and sometimes being sober for work is a good thing. Just keep it simple and enjoy it as a treat when your work is done. Just like one would treat alcohol.
The body compensates to anything one throws at it to make up for the temporary gains. It's a zero sum gain sadly. Just enjoy it as a treat or treatment if you really need it for a disease/disability.
Does this mean that all of those copyrighted works I am hosting "in the cloud" are no longer the property of their respected copyright holders? I can see this being argued in all sorts of funny ways.
Room mates got a little nutty with the disaster preparedness. I took it a step further and bought a cooler, bag of ice, and a 24 pack of Corona. Bring it Sandy!
From what i've read in my adventures to bulk up and build muscles BPA is one of those really prevalent xenoestrogens. There are a ton of chemicals in our environment that mimic estrogen, and its effects have been crazy if you look at the effects on sperm counts and not to mention its emasculating effects of men. Soy is in the same class, so if you're a vegetarian watch out. I've also noticed a lot of testosterone creams hitting the market lately, probably to help those old men whose test counts are really low. Interesting times we live in these days....
There was a similar case in Erie PA back in 2007 I believe using a collar bomb. The poor guy had to rob a bank and reach a final destination before the timer ran out. Sadly the police held him at gun point and the timer went out before the bomb squad came.
We live in a system where our living causes carbon to be outputted. The point should be to reduce that footprint so the natural sources can take it out of our atmosphere or do whatever with it.
The carbon footprint of a bike vs a car is crazy different. Hell I don't think most people realize that buying a new car instead of fixing an old one is better for the environment. The summary even goes to point out that walking isn't carbon neutral. DUH growing food costs energy. Sometimes I wonder how people can be so short sighted when it comes to highly complicated systems. They see only one step in front of them. Very sad
can be blamed entirely on the studios not hiring talent (directors) who share the passion that video game enthusiasts have. I heard from the writer of the first Tomb Raider movie that the director Simon West stated on set that he, "hates video games and doesn't understand why people play them." And then people wonder why the movie sucked so badly. I hope Ubisoft does a great job with their studio. Too many great video games with really great plots have been destroyed by terrible movies.
What war in Libya? We've basically done some live bombing practice and sent in a handful of trainers and some covert troops. We expended more resources arresting Noriega.
Yeah because it doesn't cost money flying those planes, shooting those missles, and running the logistical equipment needed to not only handle those troops on the ground.
Most of my favorite websites that are frowned upon by certain government agencies have already begun their transition to other domains such as.me just like Rogadirecta. I hope the others quickly start doing the same.
Depends on the law broken. If you crossed state lines in committing the act, then it falls under the jurisdiction of the federal courts. Trust me you don't want this to happen.
Covered rear wheels help decrease drag which equates to better fuel economy. The reason most fuel economic vehicles look fugly is because they chose function over form to decrease drag as best they can.
So the real question is how long will this "unadvertised plan" last? Unless it's officially offered then this isn't a permanent solution nor a reason to say, "AT&T is better than VZW!!"
You know what, I agree with you. Our votes are useless. At least voting gives me an opportunity to say I tried when the system fails and I grab the rifle with my fellow patriot.

China is only communist in name, but not in practice. A lot of schools have "fees" associated with attending and the cost of which is generally not affordable for many people. A lot of children do not complete the compulsory 9 years of schooling. Take a look here, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Education_in_the_People's_Republic_of_China#Compulsory_education_law

Just get more of it. Problem solved.

Then the scent of a freshly opened Macbook Pro would be it. I had to open 40 Macbook Pros once and by the end I had a headache from that scent.

They should do an anti trust probe into real anti trust problems. More specifically one that looks at that ever lovely comcastic company.
That is by far the worst possible thing that can happen to any man. http://my.clevelandclinic.org/disorders/priapism/hic_priapism.aspx

I will not be voting D or R this election. I don't care who it is, but it won't be them (tea party isn't a party).
I have friends who work at Universal, according to HR, "it is quite an exciting time to be working apart of the NBC Universal family."
Who wants to predict a big round of layoffs in the entertainment industry pretty soon?
Agreed. You don't see wine and liquor stores or even distilleries freaking out about the same thing.
I know exactly where they are. Do you know how they keep theft down? By having closed circuit TV cameras and a silent alarm that calls the police.
If these are private businesses then they need to learn how to protect their product from outside and inside theft.
