I assume you would have to file charges at a police station in their local area. Then, you'd probably have to get the DA there to actually press the case. Finally, you'd have to have a judge willing to apply pretty harsh sentencing.

First of all, not that. It needs to look like a realistic bouncy 18 year old woman. It would also be nice if she/it could change too. That way I don't have to look at the same girl everyday. Change the size of the boobs, length of legs, hair color, race, etc...

Two, not beer. As I get older it's more like 12 year old Scotch or Bourbon on the rocks. So the robot needs to put ice in the glass and pour scotch over it. Martinis would be nice two.

Three, it needs to know the interaction of meds with alcohol and to warn me not to take my meds when I'm about to drink. Yes in that order because if I'm so old and decrepit that I need an assisted living robot, there's no fucking point in taking care of my health anyway.

Does demonstrating have an effect in Western democracies? I think it does in fascist countries because then the dictator becomes afraid; such as Pakistan. Then there are other dictators who don't give a shit: Mugabe.

Then you have other activists who don't demonstrate. They write letters, lobby, legal action and do their best to educate the public. The Sierra Club is one of the most effective groups in existence. You'll never hear about them rioting or torching houses or SUV. You'll never hear about them ramming ships. As a result, people with actual power will meet with them on an equal basis and they accomplish their goals peacefully, with dignity, and with the respect of their adversaries. I understand that and I'm sure the OP understands that - most folks know about the local monopolies. I don't have cable because I don't like the way ANY of the local providers operate. The only reason I have a cell phone is because someone else has purchased it - I refuse to get any cell phone under my own name because I think ALL the cell providers offer shitty terms in their horribly one sided contracts.

We're not talking about food, water, shelter, power, or even health care: this is just the internet. Need it for work? Fine, bend over and pay it.

I don't like the way corporate America works in many cases either (let's face, they can bitch and moan all they want but when it comes down to it, the laws favour them!), but if I don't need the service and I don't like the terms, I don't get it: regardless of how badly I want it.
