    (b) You're correct - oxidation of one CH4 molecule produces one CO2 molecule and two H2O molecules.

    Well to be fair H2O is also a greenhouse gas.

    This is the right temperature for the earth because it's the one we're successful in. Maybe there's a condition in which all the deserts become farm lands and the the climate becomes temperate everywhere but there are far more scenarios where things would be worse with change.

    I don't think it's a question of if humans would survive extreme climate change, just a question of how much of the population would survive. If our efforts have to mostly be focused on survival, I'm thinking much else that we spend time and money on now would fall to the wayside.

    Not if you throw interest in there. Plus there's maintenance costs. 60K gets you enough for 2 people for upkeep and they would be underpaid.

    And if that fails, you can place a camcorder in front of the TV. I don't know why they waste so much money with these projects. They just need something that would be a hassle for regular users and give up the rest of the battle as not cost effective. It would be interesting to see their "piracy losses" compared to what what they spend on DRM schemes.

    Yes because all the modern family needs is what they can get from their home plot. I wonder what the average would be for land needed per American. You would need land for food, growing trees, mineral resources ect.

    Having said that, I do dimly recall some associate got drafted and trained only to miss the war and spend their time babysitting in France. So some of that did go on. The US did provide a considerable force to stabilize Western Germany, Austria, Italy, and Japan as well as providing a conventional force counterweight to the USSR empire.

    I believe that was the solider class from Team Fortress 2.

    I would think the best bet would be to take it to the local news. Sony might consider the $300 cheaper than having to go to court to overturn the other decision and deal with the negative publicity.

    Precisely. Which is why it didn't work until they changed their point-of-origin to the new planet. Please pay closer attention to the fake, make-believe magic incantations. ;-)

    For the same reason why your car's engine oil would turn to with gunk if you left it sitting-around for 10,000 years.

    Good point. It's funny how all these problems just suddenly "happened" on precisely Day 3.6 Million of the ship's log, and humans just happened to be there.

    They were entering it with the planet's symbol but needed to use Earth's for it to work. I'm guessing the 9th symbol doesn't work like the rest.

    With the new gates they find, can't they use a 8 symbol code to open a gate back earth or do you need extra energy?
