7. And the answer to this articles problem: My Digital Cable box will not allow me to delete channels I dont want to see (or worse am not ever authorized to view) from the list. I have to scroll through like 250 channels to see a list of the 30 or so that I watch.
I don't even care that I'm paying for stuff like HSN, but let me delete it from the "Guide" list, or reassign it channel number 999 so I can scroll through my favorite channels in 4-5 screens instead of 25.
I have a bad feeling Froogle is going to get taken by the same people who list things for a dollar on Pricewatch and then you can't find anything near that price when you click the link.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't zone alarm actually catch this one? (i.e. it would prompt the user that the executable they just ran wants to connect to the internet)
Vice City was one of the best, most polished, immersive and balanced games I have ever played. It had a few AI glitches, but I disagree with you that it was a disappointment.
Simcity 2000 traffic had sources and destinations too, but it was just in terms of zones. As long as you had residential, comericial, and industrial zones alternating on your stretch of road, then any generated "traffic" would be satisfied, as it would get to its destination of R, I or C fairly quickly.
Is there any such thing as a moderate Libertarian? (Someone who is a middle of the road conservative on fiscal issues, and middle of the road liberal on social issues) I like Libertarian beliefs in small doses, but usually it seems they go to far. Most people consider them extremists so much to the point that I would not put an affiliation with Campus Libertarians on my resume.
Let's take a look at a couple recent games-- Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, and Sonic Battle. Same platform (GBA), same controller (obviously), but different genres. M&L is an RPG, known for having very simple controls (d-pad for menus, OK, and Cancel), but M&L's controls seem needlessly complex and somewhat overdone. Does the game really need separate buttons for Mario and Luigi each? In battle, it's a neat concept, but outside of battle it's really irritating.
Having Played Mario&Luigi: SuperStar Saga to completion over this years holiday season I can tell you that you have it quite the opposite. In Battle, the seperate controls are quite irritating (though still necessary for counterattacks). Out of battle, it would be impossible to solve puzzles if the "A" button controlled both Mario and Luigi, as you need to use them simultaneously at tiems.
yeah, but they get billions of dollars a year to spend on that sort of thing, enough to overcome all the red tape and bureaucracy. Americans don't like spending billions of dollars on projects that might improve the actual quality of life domestically.
Then there's the issue of needing gold for everything, gold that was best collected by entering and exiting certain areas over and over again while breaking pots, or pulling up flowers. Ugh.
Well, I didn't feel that the gameworld was abused, it was fairly expansive IMO considering the time and platform. But I will DEFINATELY concede you this one. Christ I hated breaking up those pots for money.
The problem was not that monsters didn't drop enough money, it was that the game didn't let you carry more than a couple hundred at a time, so you left most of it behind, and then when you got to a city and wanted to make expenditures of like 1,000 rupees or more, you had to spend the 99 you had on you and then break pots NINE Subsequent times.
A computer adventure is a game that has little to no reflex-intensive gameplay to speak of; instead, it relies on puzzles. However, computer adventures are not puzzle games, because the puzzles are suspended within a story that progresses as you play, and those puzzles make sense within the story.
Heh, not in half the adventure games I used to play and love!
As someone who played a lot of everquest over the years, I can tell you that there was too much cooperation going on. Light Elves and Dark Elves camping together to get some rare item. It was sickening. You need to encourage people to roleplay within their teams, and approach the game from an in-game perspective.
you consider your gambling to be an investment? please, please, for your sake and for the sake of your family, view this website. an investment does not depend on if the vikings can cover the spread against indy.
absolutely.. that is not an investment. That is a gamble. I understand the difference. But as I mentioned before, the sports gambling market occasionally lead you to a true investment.
For example sometimes, usually during the baseball season you can find prices like this:
Blue Jays -123 (at one sportsbook) White Sox +130 (at another sportsbook)
This means you can risk $123 to win $100 on the Blue jays, and $100 to win $130 on the White Sox.
This means if the Blue Jays win you break even, and if the White Sox win you make $7. Not much, but say we put $1000 on both sides, now you are guanteeing yourself a shot at $70.
It's a win-win (well, win-break even) proposition. You can even make it a win-win (with smaller wins) by adjusting your bets a little. Sounds like an investment if you ask me.
How is this relevant? Does every sport have to be fully described by its name now?
I dont see a lot of insects in a game of cricket, yet somehow people still understand what it means.
Yeesh.
testy times two

I got one minus windows about a month ago, and besides the dead pixel it shipped with, I've been thrilled.

How do you fit 5,000 pirated songs onto a cassette?
And when was the last time YOU saw a pimp who dressed like a straight man?

It's the largest wall of urinals known to mankind.

Congratulations, you are a Democrat.

If I wanted to replay with same crap over and over for hours to get to each tiny bit of content, I'd play Zelda 64, or some other crap Nintendo game
I wasn't even particularily wowed over by Zelda 64, but I fail to see how it meets your description.
I know.. how could you ever top this?

I suppose. The obvious conclusion being that Tallon and Vallon Zek were the superior servers. :-P

However for most people, they'd be better off playing the stock market.
Agreed.
