But flashing a memory is not altering the software, it's altering the memory, isn't it? The contents of the memory is not the original software any more.
A kilogram-force (kgf), or kilopond (kp, from latin pondus meaning weight), is an informal unit of force equal to the magnitude of the force exerted on one kilogram of mass by a 9.80665 m/s2 gravitational field (standard gravity, a conventional value approximating the average magnitude of gravity on Earth).[citation needed] Therefore one kilogram-force is by definition equal to 9.80665 newtons.
The Motorola Droid came out almost a year ago, and it's as usable as it was then. Hell, it even supports 2.2 of the OS.
Except that is not completely true.
Although that is Motorola's fault, not every phone that can is getting an upgrade.
Even more troubling is that it seems to be region based. And that goes not only for Motorola's droid
Also, unrelated but still a problem for android, is the availability of paid apps on the market. How long before paid apps get to my country? (rhetoric question)
Well, if you can alert people as the kidnapping is taking place, it certainly serves at least for one purpouse. You don't need to wait for a call to know a relative has been kidnaped. and you can take action sooner.
Why not avoid public channels altogether while we're at it So let's allow/'legalize' posting entire logs of irc chats because somebody has probably done it already. Let's make their work easier.
wii play has something akind to duck-hunt I never played but a tiny bit of duck-hunt, but it looks like a minigame that is included in wii-play. (you shool against ballons, discs, bullseyes, matrtians and , yes, even passerby ducks
It's the employee's body. His temple. Nobody should be able to say what to do with it or how to treat it as a job requirement. Besides, the employee also has a choice of quiting the job. What would they do about the surgery and the rfid then?
So basically you are saying it is ok to encumber more the console. I was under the impression that the PS3 got so expensive because Sony crammed so many things into it that are barely related to the main purpose of the thing, which is gaming.
Ok, so many people use stereo, I have not seen a dvd player that does not come with a way to have only stereo output. Economic problems? Get a cheap one. It would still be better than any dvd (as in the movies) support the wii could give.
Isn't one of Unix philosophies "do one thing and do it well?"
also, I didn't mean region codes for games, although I was unaware they were already there for the games. But it is still something new that raises the price tag AND reduces the likability of the system (at least in my case)
Ok, so DVD is only 480p, and wii has only RCA output. It still would not do good use of the technology. Even a cheap dvd player should give better results, and scalability as it surely has more outputs than just the rca and stereo ones.
So, again, if it will be a downloadable channel, go ahead nintendo, I don't mind.
But I don't see it happening either way, and I would rather get some sort of storage support to lessen load times of games and the dvd drive and the disks usage.
Well, if it is a downloadable optional upgrade, I wouldn't mind what others did with the console. But I don't want an expensive innecesary upgrade that carries the extra burden of region codes. Also, the Wii is stereo only, and not hd, what is the point of a dvd player there? I would rather have a flash plugin for its browser, and watch my dvds on a proper player.
What I meant, is it would make the console more expensive. I wouldn't like that at all. Forget about Stallman ideologies for a sec. and fix your language
DVD playback concerns more than hardware expenses. I would hate DVD playback. To encumber an unencumbered console. what with royalties, patents, region codes and whatnot.
An external storage device support to ease loading issues from the dvd, on the other hand, would be very nice.
Trying to show me differences in video quality with youtube to convince the wii is not worth it? Besides, the original point was the lack of original content for the wii (mostly ports from the ps2). And to sum things up, look up the definition for next-gen, for God's sake!
I have played star wars saber games with a mouse and a keyboard. I don't think I would have a problem with a wiimote just because it does not mimick perfectly the reality.
I read he surrendered after realizing how much damage a war was making, not because he thought he chose the wrong side. (But I didn't read the comic, it's just something I read in some random webpage)

Did you know there is a unit called Kilogram Force?

Except for the people that already use double clicking on the title bar for some other operation (like shada/unshade)

We will just have to raise the speed of light then.
What digital cameras (not .*phones) add exif location metadata information to the pictures?
I have a simple Canon PowerShot SX100IS.
Does it uses SELinux in any way? So that only a handful of users are able to install signed rpm packages?

Even if it is open, I don't want my email laying around in the net just because I mentioned it in a chat.
Yes there are.
And no, it doesn't keep people from discussing it.
One thing is quoting and an entirely different one is posting a log of an irc chat
There are privacy concerns that justify that. Besides, it should be a commonsense rule unless otherwise required.
Also that doesn't keep people from discussing what was said ther on a bolg, forum or whatever you like.
Nope, it's a big PDA

Couldn't hey be given savegames to try out the game at many different stages?
or perhaps a god-mode?

Is there any reason anything other than an individual be granted a patent?
why are corps owners of patents?
or am I mistaken?

Yeah. I don't see the situation changing for the forseeable future either
