I live in the U.S. and I completely agree with the guy from NZ. Doom and Gloom is what we're facing here, guy! They're chipping away at us a bit at a time.
Until we have true accountability of our voting process.. we can't call ourselves a true democracy. I do not believe our votes were counted properly. We need to start with our voting system if we're to take back the government and be free.
for a second there i thought these were some drm schemes i hadn't heard of.. only to search and find out these were gay porn publishers, doh! hope work didn't see that!
did you read what the OPEN VOTING SYSTEM is all about?? there can be no political bias if the system that we're using to vote with is OPEN SOURCE AND OPEN TO EXAMINATION.. unlike someone like diebold who threatens to pull their voting machines out of states that attempt to examine their source code (north carolina)..
ahahahaa man honestly, spandex is going way too far out of my way to say FUCK YOU to anybody !!! AHAHAHAAHH this is gotta be a joke!! please tell me i'm right!:)
When I first saw this article i was like... who is this person to talk about what I wear and that t-shirts and jeans can't be fashionable? If wearing dress shirts and slacks is fashion, count me OUT! a suit / dress shirt would actually be more along the lines of following existing business clothing trends and displaying no style whatsoever as this person suggests.
I dress at work like I dress when I'm not at work. I am just not a suit and slacks kind of guy I guess. Why would I pay to maintain a second set of clothing that I couldn't wait to take off as soon as I hit the house? No, thanks! I'd rather keep one set of clothing new / fresh and flex that style to the fullest instead of having two half ass wardrobes and not even enjoying wearing the second half. It doesn't make business sense.
Now if a corporation I worked for wanted me to dress a certain way (which in a way is a type of uniform), they could provide me a seperate clothing allowance and cover maintenance of the apparal they are making me wear. I'm thinking along the lines of the clothing allowance given to military personnell every year for them to purchase BDU's and anything else that might have developed some wear.
Might this person work for a clothing designer?
apply black hat laws to sony?

Bad Day To Be Sony

Why shoudln't the same rules applied to black hat hackers who compromise and exploit the security of systems be applied towards sony executives? They should really make an example out of these guys so that other corporations and even spyware makers won't attempt anything like this EVER AGAIN.
lawyers with free time on their hands to worry about something penny arcade is posting on top of other nonsense about video games can't be successful lawyers.. successful lawyers i would think would rather be raking in some billable hours..
haven't tried this yet, but this seems like an innovative idea.. sorta like virtual wifi nic bonding. wireless networks are unreliable on their own but if we had a conncetion to multiple wireless networks.. we might actually be able to depend on that connection and maybe build reliable services around that.
this thing makes the psp look like crap.. on top of that, it makes it heavier. psp is way too sexy for this bulky addition.. especially at $199.. no thanks!
haven't looked at the neuros until i just saw you mention it.. it looks sweet! i like the line in / mic / fm tuner recording option and the built in fm broadcast..
i have a 4th gen 40gb ipod and can't say for sure if i would have known about the neuros if i still would have gotten the ipod.
does this thing have a pc mp3 player it syncs with? or any music store ? i noticed its usb 2.0 (no firewire).. however, they DO offer it in an 80gb version - sweet!
with sprintpcs.. if you have a 3g phone, you probably already have unlimited 3g access (like 10 or 15 a month).. you can use a cable made by datapilot with most phones and it'll let you connect to the net at 230.4kbps.
if ipod were a dvd player, would apple be the only one allowed to sell dvd's?
the way i look at it, this will only bring in more ipod sales. i dont think their music store might suffer too bad - i know i use it. however, there are times when i can't find a track on itunes and will give napster a shot.. sometimes napster has a track itunes doesn't, sometimes the otherway around. in the end its all about giving your ipod users the best possible ipod experience.
why can't some IRC developers come up with an addon that would allow for voice chat as well as viewing of webcams? Then if a company like trillian or whoever would write an IM client that uses those features of the IRC server.. it would seriously kick ass.. but to regular IRC users.. it would look just like normal IRC.. ya get me?
Have you ever looked at one of them maps that shows elevation of the united states.. more specifically look closer at california, nevada and arizona.. the rocky mountains like a half circle where southern california is kinda in the center.. kinda looks like it could have been a huge volcano or something or maybe a giant crater from a meteor
Whats up everybody. I'm in the same boat as this guy. I'm 23 years old, I have 5 years IT experience and I work for a huge web hosting company and make a great salary. I have taken 2 college classes and then I got a job and a family and I have little to no free time to spend earning a degree at the moment because of alot of the overtime I work. When I got hired, my manager mentioned that if I were to have had a degree I would have gotten a higher salary but what I feel is that in the same amount of time that I would spend earning a degree, I could already be making that extra money. I have alot of friends who have went to and graduated from college and I'm sure it helps their salary out a bit, but aside from a small salary boost, I don't see why I would need a degree unless I was trying to move up to some sort of management/director type of position. I'm listening to all your arguments and I agree with some of them but I think that some of you guys are a bit bitter that you spent 4 or more years in college and there are guys like me who got an IT job right out of high school, have no college loans and make just as much money or more than you do and have had time to develop about 4 or more years of on the job experience than you have. The versatility that you guys are saying that you learn from completing a computer science program I believe you can learn on the job. I myself have network, systems, programming and architecture experience and thats about as broad as I think I need to be. Now at the same time, I would not mind having that computer science degree but I'm really not interested in the general studies portion of schooling that I would have to complete to achieve it.
Ok now.. Getting back to this guys original question... do any of you guys know of any quicky-type computer science programs?:)
Hahah!! i had something to do with that :P In case anyone is curious since it got deleted; screenshots below:

i doubt you'd ever have anything positive to say. in your eyes, your probably the smartest person in the world, moron.
instead of complaining why dont you contribute something like these guys are actually doing.. sour puss.
what an incredible waste of time.
