It's time for a class action lawsuit against the RIAA and major record labels. Everyone who has ever been on the Internet should be able to participate. Seeing how the RIAA is suing anyone.
Make the lawsuit a $1 billion one and you will have lawyers flocking to take the case on.
like Ambrosia.
They have Darwinia listed. I think I will snub my nose at the "Big" publishers that lack the stones to give a game like this a shot.
So my advice to all of you out there. Go to small shops like Ambrosia and others like them. Buy from them and show your support for creativity.
This is the same problem that Apple is facing with their iTunes thingamajig. Who in their right mind will pay for something that they can get for free already?!? Baulderdash!
The people that buy game content for real money are the same idiots that respond to spam. So after their miracle weener enlargement process fails to get results they have to buy the biggest polearm in the game to make up for it.
I applaud Blizzard for making the attempt to stop this nonsense. I see them going from one server to the next cleaning out the vermin.
They should say the answer is 48 or something to that effect. That way we will know the person who quotes the movie number is actually a poseur geek... hmmm. Did I just type that?
I equate people like this to spam. It's annoying and affects many. But like spam they flourish because there are a few morons who pay for this. Simply stunning.
I'm all about making a profit. But not at someone else's expense.
My Undead Warlock made a mistake with choosing to be a Tailor. I've worked the skill up to a decent level. Now I can't get a break! I spent the night filling orders for Linen Bags! "Make me a bag, NOW!" "I said THREE bags Newb! You deaf?" *sigh*
I signed up to have fun. Now I realize that this is work. em/ crying
To top it off my Voidwalker just stands there not offerring a single word of support. Basterd!
1. Save up a month of Vacation from work. Check 2. Full-size fridge stocked with Redbull. Check 3. Emergency store of Cheese-wiz and crakers. Check 4. Plenty of empty bottles for call of nature. Check
I am now prepared to cease being a productive member of society and devote my life to World of Warcraft.... May God have mercy on my soul.
The lack of mouse/keyboard support has been the only reason why I would not give FPS on consoles the time of day. I was brutally tramatized by Halo's control scheme. Game pads do not cut it for me...
Correct me if I'm wrong.... Your match to petrol analogy... The petrol is stored or potential enegy, hydro-carbon. The match's flame is the trigger for it's release. So in essence you do not get more energy out then you put in.
Coldstone from Ambrosia is very similiar to RPGMaker. I never had the priviledge of trying either system but I think they both have wonderful potential for the creative types.
Simple graphics is not indicative of a great game. A few console RPG's that come to mind, Shining in the Darkness and the Shining FOrce series on the Sega Genesis, Final Fantasy Tactics on the PSOne and the Fallout series for the PC/Mac. If the game is fun, immersive and have minimal bugs to detract from the fun and immersion then we have a winner!
Well, to really enjoy this game in the spirit of Lovecraft the player must: 1. Go insane and kill himself with repeated attempts at Rocket Jumping for no reason.
2. Running gibbering to the loving "arms" of Hastur because you know he'll love you a long time back!
3. Be devoured by something whose shape, geometry is so mind-blastingly bizarre as to cause your eyes to mercifully slide away...
4. You... Oh my god! What the hell is crawling up my
I found his synopsis of Shadowbane to be interesting. I just recently killed my account on that game. I played since it was release (Mar. 03, I think).
If you ever wanted to see what it was like to be in a Mad Max movie then this is it. Except there's no cars.:) A total gank fest. Not that this is a bad thing, but it is definately a game designed for a specific segment of the MMO market. New players are best advised to stay away from this title. It can sour their view of MMO's almost irreparably. Someone who has played in other games before stand the best chance of acclimating to this game.
For those of you who are interested in seeing what a bloodbath is like, Ubi offers a 15 day trial.
A pity really. I had fun with SB. But the bugs just drove me insane.
I don't think this is any more dangerous then someone with a propane tank in their back yard. In the mid-Atlantic region of the US there are quite a few houses with propane as natural gas lines are not available to them for one reason or another.
Ha! I only have 2000+ clicky figs! Hardly an addiction! Why I can stop buying these infernal, plastic hellions whenever I feel like it! So don't you go preaching to ME about addiction.
<glazed look>
Hmmm, sorry about the tone but I have this headache and been feeling aimless...
Although hardware specs are nice and can contribute to a game it is the games themselves that matter.
Without quantity AND quality a system will die. It's simple.
Show me where the good games are and that will be the system that I will buy.
This seems to work just fine in Firefly/Serenity.

like X-com had very modest system requirements and can make use of a PSP's control setup nicely.
I am not a programmer. I would hope some brave soul out there would tackle this challenge.
I played X-com on my PS1 a long time ago. I'd like the idea of such a fun game coming back around for the PSP.
You are correct Sir!

May God(zilla) have mercy on that 1998 mockery that dared to claim the same name.
Oh by the by, I hope he eat Brodderick as well for the crime of being in that movie.
Atomic Flame Breath on!

Get ready to be oWnEd!
I want more Babylon 5 and Firefly!
Why are we not punishing the fools who hire these spamming bastages to promote their business?
After all if the source of the spammers income dwindles then they wither. Perhaps I'm being overly simplistic.
Is it time to stroke the advertisers again?
Here! Let's say how bad people who buy used games are! They're as bad as.... Pirates!
Give me a break. This is the voice of pure greed. Nothing more. Second hand games have never stopped me from buying new games.
Sorry. Haven't had my morning cup yet... grrrr.
A game with Shoggoths, Father Dagon, etc., etc.

Please let there be an OS X version soon! Oh please! Oh please!
This just looks amazing! OMG! Who wouldn't want to be a Super Hero?!?

Not a flame ( no pun intended ) just opinion.
Actually I'd like more detail on Senator Padme's torpedo rack!
