    8K is already here. It just requires more wattage and RAM out of your video card, and a lot more money. It does let you zoom in really nice. You still have full HD at 16x. Personally, I would wait for solid textured holograms, like the kind R2D2 projected, without the beamed lighting of course.

    All you will get is a label on the machine. Business buyers will see this as better security. The machine just has to work. They want the walled garden. As long as it remains voluntary let them have it. Microsoft isn't doing anything Apple hasn't done for a long time.

    I guess blue is okay because that's the color the signal strength icons (wifi and cell) on my official Galaxy Nexus turn to with an internet connection, which just happens to be very convenient.

    What's the point of 4K again?

    It's the "gateway drug" to 8K, which should hit the market about the same time 4K content becomes ubiquitous.

    And you'll always get precession.

    Not if you're rotating about the same axis as the gyro. You are not applying any force to it. And since no torque is being applied to the frame, it won't matter which direction you are turning. The body roll would change the front/rear balance for a short time and front/aft tilting would make vehicle roll left and right a bit. You can prove all that stuff with a bicycle wheel. And if this is a truck or bus you're talking about. You won't notice it. It's bad enough you have one rapidly rotating part ready to blow up any second, why put in two? I still prefer using dangerous caustic chemicals with as few moving parts as possible. If we ever build super capacitors, all the better.
