Good luck with that, Apple. Disable Netflix on all those AppleTV devices.... go ahead..... see how much heat Netflix gets over it as opposed to how much heat Apple gets....
I am guessing that Apple would basically be shooting themselves in the foot on that deal.
Can someone in the know please explain to me the origin of this new spam message that I am seeing in nearly every discussion thread? What is a "creimertard"?
Also, the outcome of the attempt to blackmail Netflix with release of part of a season of Orange is the new black was hilarious.
This person is such a clown. All ransom notes from this individual should be read in lisping-tending-toward-daffy-duck pocket protector nerd voice for maximum hilarity.
Yeah DG can be a rip. Dollar Tree is better because ALL items are $1. However, even with DT, you have to be careful because that can of beans might actually cost $0.50 but is being marked UP to $1.
I like the local Dollar Tree. There have been times in my life where it has been a real godsend to be able to go in with $20 and come out with a basket full of groceries.
I can imagine that there are some people who make minimum wage that rely on the dollar store to make ends meet every week.
I am amazed that it is a viable business model, but I am grateful that it is!
(You just have to make sure to set Newegg as the seller to filter out all the crap reseller offerings.)
Ain't that the truth!
I recently ordered some OTA equipment and one of the items was a nice looking outdoor rated coax cable with rubber boots on the ends. Unfortunately, I didn't pay close enough attention to the seller of this particular piece and realized, too late, that it was being shipped from China!
No big deal, I ended up not needing the cable anyway and completed the project.
Weeks later, I get the package with the cable and..... it turned out to not even be what I ordered!
Whatever, it was a $10 cable.... how that makes sense to ship from China... I will never know...
I did Prime for a few years but, really, the shipping of Amazon has gotten so fast that it really isn't needed anymore.
I find that the items I purchase on Amazon, for the most part, still have a free two day shipping method even without Prime.
In the cases where two day shipping isn't available, the items still arrive within a week. Which still beats the pants off of any place else that I order things from.
Actually, I use 'links' for that.... I didn't even know that lynx was still around!
I still also like the text-based, no javascript, browser for checking out suspicious links in e-mail to see, for example, if it is a credential capture attack or a download/other attack vector.
It really riles me that a case can be brought forward with me opted in by default. I think the solution is to simply invert that to opt out by default. You need me as a class member? Pitch your case to me and let me opt in.... you know how you would get me to opt in? Offer me some money....
The fact that my name can be used in order to line someone else's pockets doesn't sit well with me at all...
I switched to foobar2000 many years ago for my Windows audio player and never looked back.
The cloud stuff is intriguing though. I haven't researched it recently but I am not aware of a plugin for FB2K that streams media directly from cloud storage. I use CloudPlayer on Android for that. That could be a killer feature for WA on mobile platforms....
Is it really so hard to CONTINUE to carry that thing that you no longer need/want until you are out of the park?
Seriously.... you came in with it.... you can leave with it....
Agreed. Or just a setting in the app to not auto-play.
Same goes for the stupid auto-play on browse too....

Update: The key worked just fine in Steam to download and install the game. Also, the game is $10 cheaper than advertised ($20 not $30).

I just purchased the game.
I would never have known about it except for this controversy, thanks!
I think that the xfce4 weather widget is the best weather utility I have EVER come across.

it is believed that such networks will be safe from hacking or eavesdropping due to their very nature
But Australia's government will still demand a backdoor...
Smoke a kipper for me, skipper. I'll be back for breakfast....
Think of all the time he saved though. That's time he could be using to stare at a progress indicator.....
Ugly bags of mostly water....
I am pretty sure the point of those frozen faux "meats" is to allow an easy transition for those who would like to experiment with vegetarianism.

I write back and opt out. Fuck you guys, get some other placeholder class member....

Wait.... don't cigarette manufacturers have a major stake in e-cigs too? How could they not?
AFAIK ChromeOS doesn't allow any other browsers at all!
And playing Fortnite on Twitch every day isn't exactly a soul crushing job.
Apparently you have never played Fortnite....
