I am sure these things would go hand-in-hand because you would need to put in the framework for automated order submissions anyway so an app is relatively cheap and is therefor a great value add.
I think that most people are active and busy trying to occupy their time. I believe that to be natural human behavior. I don't think anyone in the world works harder than someone who is homeless trying to survive. It's just that some forms of work are rewarded and others aren't.
How often do you think: why don't those criminals use their talent and get a job?
Because jobs suck!
I have a decent job that I don't mind doing but I cannot imagine any job that I could happily do day in and day out for 50 years...
Yet if you complain or want a system where you can live a basic life and pursue the things that truly make you happy, you are a leech.
It is most likely written as a Windows Universal app. Which means that it is installed via the Store and will run on all MS platforms including Xbox and mobile (in theory).
This is what I was thinking. It's an all or nothing situation.
If you car is driving itself you are not going to be paying any attention. You may be expected to. You may be at fault for not doing so. But you will not.
Even if you were paying as much attention to the road as you normally would, after a while your response time may start to lapse. At the very least, your normally unconscious decision making will be thrust into the conscious mind which will cause you to choke and make bad decisions.
Yeah, except that the level of care given in correctional facilities is terrible.
A friend of mine died shortly after being released from prison (they released him because of his medical condition btw) because they wouldn't care for his leukemia properly.
I love the little bit about "delivering a drug locally"... yeah right, I am sure that is the reason for the research... we don't already have anything like that...
Sounds to me as though MIT wants a piece of the multi-billion dollar cosmetic industry...
People will buy anything that remotely claims to get rid of wrinkles.. oh, it came out of MIT?... well... won't all my friends be so impressed!
Does this imply a specific build of Windows 10 that has accessibility options permanently enabled? That would seem unlikely unless it just enforces 1 option to be active at all times.
I am guessing if that were the case, the "hold ctrl to find the mouse cursor" option would not count...
The solution would have to be automated though, right? I mean, MS isn't going to make a huge amount of work for themselves by verifying doctor's notes or something like that...
Interested to see how this will work and how long it lasts (since it seems like a pretty easy system to "game").
Perhaps MS is just creating a glaring loophole and giving everyone a "wink and a nod" to allow them charge for Windows 10 at the same time as making it "free" for anyone who wants it...
I never really got the appeal of Prince's music. I certainly appreciate his talent and there are some real devotees, especially here in Minneapolis, but his music was never my cup of tea.
In theory having a closed loop system can provide a superior cup of coffee by removing all of the variables (grind, temperature, quantity, time, etc).
So you get the same cup of coffee every time. Therefor, you find a kcup/brand/type that you like and you know it will taste the same every time.
I have a single serve Keurig, I like it for the reasons above and I don't want to make a full pot every time I just want a single cup of coffee... which is maybe once a week or even less.
Keurig does have a full pot version called the Bolt, with recyclable cups. The filter is attached to the foil top so you peel that off and toss that in the trash then put the plastic part in the recycling. It is a decent cup of coffee and the machines are very brain dead easy to use... but they are prone to breaking.
We ended up going back to the old drip coffee makers at our company after having to call service on them a few times. Also there is a supply chain problem with those particular sized cups.
I have seen plenty of people who do the perfunctory hand wash by running water over their hands for 2 seconds just so that people in the room already know that the "procedure has been followed"

Agreed.
Though, really, this is one of the reasons that I don't own a single DVD or Blueray disc.
If I really want to watch something I will rent it from Redbox for $1.50, thanks.
Yeah and you'd never know it... SAP being such a lightweight and straightforward product...
And... of course I meant to say "All MS platforms higher than version 7"

So skateboards are inherently safe, got it.
Replying because I mis-click moderated you.
Was going for +1 Funny and clicked -1 Troll instead.

Seems like they both make close to the same amount of stuff... They also both make a lot of software.
So... how is one a hardware company and one a software company again?

My method is simply to not own a car.
Having to rely on my own two legs for 100% of my transportation needs really works wonders.
The worst part is hauling heavy items like cat litter... but it builds a strong back...
I tend to agree with you.
I never really got the appeal of Prince's music. I certainly appreciate his talent and there are some real devotees, especially here in Minneapolis, but his music was never my cup of tea.
Rest in peace sweet Prince.
So you just don't call it a medical device... done deal.
Just like "herbs" are not "medicine" or "fees" are not "taxes"
Unless you are talking about Gates McFadden of course...
Or, "I am Sending money In dollarS"
Most of Peart's works are...
His skill with the word is only rivaled by his skill on a drum set...
Exactly!
If you don't at least know of Rush you can turn your nerd card in at the door...

This is exactly what I have to do. Even to find Apple's own applications.
You type in the EXACT APP NAME and it doesn't come up in a search.... what the crap is with that?
I have seen plenty of people who do the perfunctory hand wash by running water over their hands for 2 seconds just so that people in the room already know that the "procedure has been followed"
Clearly this is the embrace phase of.... something...
