Use your handheld as a USB drive.2 When you're away from your own desktop, just turn on Drive Mode, plug the Tungsten T5 handheld into another computer and access your work.
and
With the new File Transfer application, you can actually drag-and-drop files and folders from your desktop to your handheld and back again. It couldn't be easier to transfer the files you need from home or your office and access them on the go.
I feel that some of the hype generated for this game may be just that. I don't even need a story. Just some baddies to kill. And I need to see the new BFG (there better be a new BFG!)
Well the good thing about bluetooth is that you don't need everything built in. You could just get a separate GPS.
Too bad us older IPAQ users are left in the cold

If you want WM 2003 SE, you'll have to buy a new ipaq. Even us users who have the 4100 and the 5100. I'm not too happy about that, but I don't want to upgrade my 4155, because I like it so much.
But I don't know if I would want to submit my idea out in the public before I had a chance to gather some financing to protect it. I also don't want my competitors to get an early leg up on my business before I have a chance to become competitive.
All in all, this is interesting idea. I'm glad to see people using technology in all forms of business. This one idea may help four more just like it come to fruition. This can only be good for folks searching for venture capital.
ccache is a compiler cache. It acts as a caching pre-processor to C/C++ compilers, using the -E compiler switch and a hash to detect when a compilation can be satisfied from cache. This often results in a 5 to 10 times speedup in common compilations.
I happen to work for a company based in the US that uses the same launch site that the Satans are using.
IANARS (I am not a rocket scientist), but if you are putting satellites in geosynchronous orbit on that side of the world, wouldn't it be easier to launch them from there?
I understand the thought of dumping phone number and mapping them names in the future. I just don't think DNS or DNS like directory is what is needed.
As of right now, I just share my contact list between my phone and my pda. I think the future is convergence. I'm waiting for the ideas to make my life simpler now.
They purchased Advertising.com earlier this year for a hefty, hefty sum.
The lack of bluetooth and wireless are a buzz kill. Other than that, this device seems hot.
and I would *pay* for it too.

I'll still go buy it on 8/3 though.
GO KSH!
Ouch... kachink
Funny that when google is posted to slahdot, then google goes boom. Maybe the net is telling google their valuation is a bit too high.

What exactly would I need a tablet pc at home for again?
I'm happy with all the enthusiasm for this great project. But can Redhat be so great that they can offer Gnome 2.8 before Gnome 2.8 exists?

This might be a better fit for your situation.

If the SATAN missiles allow for organizations to get their satellites into orbit at a cheaper price, this is a very good idea.

If at all possible, give everyone their own office. I feel 100% more productive now that I don't have to work in a cube.
Mozilla Thunderbird or Spamassassin will filter at least as well or even better. Is this just a test to see how quickly we can fill up gmail's disk?
I'm not a GPL expert, but they only have release the source to this for paying customers. And what use is the software without the data?
It doesn't matter. This is /. Microsoft=BAD and everything competing with Microsoft=GOOD.
