I felt at home here with all of you, knowing that my fears, my tears, my joy, my sorrow were all being shared with the rest of us.
I decided today not to watch TV and just let the day go as usual. But I felt that I should come back here, to read, to understand, to discuss, to reflect, to contemplate the thousands of souls who lost their lives here and abroad. I mourn the deaths of every single person who died that day and I mourn with their families and the families of the young men who believed they were making a point. I would never want my son, my brother or my father to be in that position and my heart goes out to their families too.

And he said:
You would know the secret of death.
But how shall you find it unless you seek it in the heart of life?
The owl whose night-bound eyes are blind unto the day cannot unveil the mystery of light.
If you would indeed behold the spirit of death, open your heart wide unto the body of life.
For life and death are one, even as the river and the sea are one.
In the depth of your hopes and desires lies your silent knowledge of the beyond;
And like seeds dreaming beneath the snow your heart dreams of spring.
Trust the dreams, for in them is hidden the gate to eternity.
Your fear of death is but the trembling of the shepherd when he stands before the king whose hand is to be laid upon him in honour.
Is the sheered not joyful beneath his trembling, that he shall wear the mark of the king?
Yet is he not more mindful of his trembling?
For what is it to die but to stand naked in the wind and to melt into the sun?
And what is to cease breathing, but to free the breath from its restless tides, that it may rise and expand and seek God unencumbered?
Only when you drink form the river of silence shall you indeed sing.
And when you have reached the mountain top, then you shall begin to climb.
And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance.
If somebody sues you, you change the algorithm or you just hire a hit-man to whack the stupid git.

Is it for real that M$ is really putting some serious efforts in softening its image in public.
For e.g. they dont totally favor the "chip-in-all-hardware-to-prevent-copying" strategy. They are in favor to an extent, but they have carefully removed themselves from going all out in support of this approach.
Then this. They know that this doesnt amount to all that much, but coming from them, it would clearly garner a lot of public attention.
I for one would like M$ to wisen up a bit and learn to co-exist with the rest of the world.
I used the new ATI A-I-W 8500 for a while and the tools were easy to use. I wouldnt compare it being on par with other solutions out there, but if you wanted a PVR and a Good Video Card thats one way to go.
The Live-Pause feature was quite good and the image jitters once (when it starts recording) and does a good job, but the file sizes were obviously too large (Half an hour of high quality video translates to 3 GB of space).
Where as Nvidia's Personal Cinema, though boasting a superior Chip had the worst software tools. I was surprised to see the Live-Pause feature to be totally useless, where you try to play back the video that got recorded was so jittery and of bad quality that it was practically useless. I wish they would do a better job with their suite of tools next time.
As for me, I would try and see if ATI does some good work with the 9700 A-I-W, coz as for me, thats the card I would buy (till DoomIII fades out and QuakeV gets in).
But the real question is: how would want to 'configure' their toasters using a GUI?"

Have you been to Shalimar in San Francisco.
Its on 532 Jones St, San Francisco, CA 94102.
And it has the best authentic North Indian cooking that I have tasted in a while.
Though the restaurant has no ambience, you atleast know that the food is fresh, coz they make it literally in front of you.
Ingredients - Chicken pieces 1kg or 2.2 lbs
Oil 3tbs,
Chopped onion one and a half cup,
Chopped ginger 2 tbs
Chopped garlic half tbs
Split green chillies 4
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Chilly powder half or one tsp
Coriander powder 2tbs
Cumin seed 1tsp, pepper half tsp, cloves 5, cardamom 2, cinnamon sticks 3. Powder these together. Instead one and a half tsp of garam massala powder can also be used.
Curry leaves a few
Coconut milk 2 cups.
Clean the chicken pieces. Mix it with 1 tbs of salt and 2 tsp of lime juice (or half cup of curd) and keep aside for half an hour. Make a paste of the coriander chilly and turmeric powder. Heat oil in a thick bottomed vessel. Add chopped onion, ginger, garlic and green chillies and brown it.
