  1. Toshiba Qosmio on Ask Slashdot: Recommendations For a Laptop With a Keypad That Doesn't Suck · · Score: 0

If you're looking at the Toshiba Qosmio, stop. It is a great, nice laptop.. but it is bulky and heavy. It does have a dedicated numeric keypad but as you noticed -- it's very plastic-y feeling and definitely wouldn't hold up to any amount of daily usage..

So yeah, heads up -- avoid the Qosmio line!

Yeah, I think I want one of these, too. Very simple to just get the time yet, useful if you want to use it's more advanced features and it still costs less than a fancy, shmancy watch.

  3. keyword 'all' on iPhone Web Claims Draw Governmental Rebuke in UK · · Score: 5, Insightful

    When I hear the phrase..

'all parts of the internet are on the iPhone',

I tend to think I can access just about anything. I think expecting java or flash to work isn't asking much yet that's not available so I do think saying 'all' is a little misleading.

I think a simple re-wording would get their point across and yet not be invalid.
