A Proposed Mail Protocol AUTHOR'S INTENT
This is the document I offered in (15146,) to write. It's a proposed
specification for handling mail in the Network -- a Mail Protocol....

Standardizing Network Mail Headers
One of the deficiences of the current FTP mail protocol is that
it makes no provision for the explicit specification of such
header information as author, title, and date. Many systems
send that information, but each in a different format. One
fairly serious result of this lack of standardization is that
it's next to impossible for a system or user program to
intelligently process incoming mail.
I suspect that those Egyptians who were mummified and placed in pyramids or other expensive tombs would come from a very narrow sliver of Egyptian society.
Most hotels in the US now seem to provide wifi. In my experience it is secured by either an easily available password or a login page. Many guests expect easy to use wifi.
In such circumstances is it possible to have secure wifi?
I am not in any way a Trump supporter but is it not more likely that he was making a joke trying to tie the DNC email issue with the Clinton personal email server issue?
"Safety mode" eliminates the prospect of an overage fee, and reduces the speed of the service until the end of the month....Customers with smaller plans can pay $5 extra to access "safety mode."
"My kids won't need to code because soon computers will just code for them"
Computers already do this. You used to have to code by manually entering the 1s and 0s but now there are things called compilers which actually do the coding for you. All you have to do is write some simple instructions saying what you want the computer to do and the compiler does the coding for you.
Chip and PIN is standard in UK and Ireland and has been for a few years now.
We already have death panels in US healthcare.
They are called medical insurance claims processors, or adjusters.

So this would let in the sort of people that work at hotels, casinos and resorts.

Accenture is a big SAP implementer, and other rival software (Microsoft, salesforce.com).
The robot was just following orders.
Adjustable rate mortgages are usually cheaper than fixed rate mortgages.
"As a result, the human attention span has fallen from 12 seconds to eight seconds since 2000, while the goldfish attention span is nine seconds."
I'll bet that the evidence for this is rock solid.
This movie is currently only available to see in movie theaters and in fact would not be eligible for the Oscars if it was just a streaming movie.

I for one welcome our new robot overlords

"will introduce the feature to all customers for a fee"
Translation: option of getting paid less
"offering unlimited free voice calls forever to anyone who signs up for its services"
A promise that cannot be kept.

It would seem there is no Nebula equivalent of the Hugo's "Sad Puppies" campaign.

Maybe someone should start slashdate.org
"Shouldn't the American people get to decide and have a voice on important matters?"
Yes they should.
And they did.
In 2012 they re-elected Barack Obama to a second four year term as President.
