    Yeah, lately here I have to admit I am. They couldn't even muster the votes to kill the utterly irresponsible Bush tax cuts.

    But why is a Federal law needed here? Don't some states already require online retailers to collect sales tax? Shouldn't other states do that if they want the revenue?

    There has been at least one attempt at a rectum (business end of the large intestine) bomb. Small intestine would be tough to get to since you'd need to pass through 6' or more of large bowel to get to it from the back end, or the mouth, throat and stomach from the front end.

    VW diesels hold their value quite well, thank you. Compare any tdi from the last 10 years versus anyone else's gasser of similar size and shape then get back to us.

    Yes, timing belt changes are somewhat painful. But at every 100K miles, who really cares? Most gassers are dead or dying by that point, so it's pretty much comparing apples to tampons.

    Every time I receive a replacement for an expired credit card I have to phone in to activate it. First thing asked for? Card number.

    Are there credit cards that do not require a call to activate?
