    A preview in Windows Explorer? That's a function of Windows/WMP, not IrfanView. It takes a plugin for IrfanView to play video,iirc, so you would have had to install that on your own.

    They've recently changed the wording of their offer deals and the fine print of the offers. You now have to keep the offers for a certain amount of time or you don't get credit for it. It was only a matter of time.

    Azureus has no spyware, at least not that Ad-Aware or Spybot can find. You may want to give it a try.

    Configure your client properly and you won't have that problem. Once I configured Azureus to only allow 10kb/s upload speeds, I never saw the problem you describe again.

    ...or did it seem like every other nominee was an EA game? I swear, EA had at least two games in almost every category, and the ones it was in, it tended to win.

    I found it annoying, like an even worse interpretation of an awards show than MTV's typical fare.

    I have seven years worth of email saved and stored on varying media. Zip disks, Jaz disks, cd's, dvds. Varying formats too (PST, mbox, eudora)

    I never clean out my downloads folder until it reaches 4gb in size, then I just burn it to a dvd-r and label it with the date and stick it in the folder, deleting everything from the hard drive. My My Documents folder is huge in size, almost 2gb at last count (this has also been backed up several times)

    I have cd-r's full of warez dating back to 1994. I have the backup of my old BBS that I ran on my OS/2 system from 1994-1996.

    Yeah, I'm a packrat in the real world and in the digital one.

    It doesn't exist by default. Use ChromEdit to edit your user files and it will create one in the proper place.

    Ad revenue comes from both "impressions" (displaying the ad on your page, paid by unique host) and "clickthrough" (unique hosts who actually click the link)

    Yes, but the quality of life beyond a certain point certainly drops, and the extended lifespans are not always "natural" -- some people live only because of the drugs they are taking to keep their body in check.

    Funny, my motherboard only cost $92 plus shipping and has soundstorm (Abit NF7-S) -- are you saying that without soundstorm this would have cost only $42? Don't think so.

    Soundstorm is only necessary for media boxes anyway. I got the board because it's a good performer.

    Soundstorm isn't really necessary anymore.

    And did you happen to notice the dearth of nForce boards with Soundstorm? It wasn't nVidia that killed it, it was the mobo makers. They didn't want to pay for it.
