Here is a good site that has most of the remakes that are currently being worked on. It hasn't been updated in a year, however the remakes that it links to are still active.
I really fail to see your argument here. Opera is a fantastic browser and generally is the first to provide new technologies (tabbed browsing, pop-up blocking, mouse gestures). Mozilla and other open source browsers also eventually added them as well, however Opera pioneered alot of them. Opera is also very very stable, intuitive, and extreamly fast. The only complaint I have is that not all sites (1 in ~40) don't work exactly as they should. Not a huge deal, however as they activly fix the browser if you post up sites that don't work. Open sourceing everything isn't always "the solution" (in some cases it is), and if you plan on complaining about why they are not open source, perhaps you should also provide reasons why you think that they should be. Never complain without something to A) back it up, and B) some sort of positive solution and reasons why the solution would work.
Ok smart ass, now how the hell am I supposed to sneak one of these on one of our friendly airlinines huh? I mean common, look at the size of those damn things!
Golden eye is a character who lost his eye to an unfortunate smelting accident, and he works for me now? "your nameless henchman lost an eye" and Goldfinger's techies replaced it with a gold eye, because that Goldfinger jumps at any opportunity to replace body parts with expensive prosthetics (he's got a vice, ok?). Now, Goldfinger is locked in a war with Dr. No for control of a criminal organization? So that means that Bond has to set us up the bomb before the henhmen reaches 12:00?
(sniff)...(sniff)... I just wanna play the game mommy.
Is it just me or did others see all the crap floating in the water? I mean I'd make damn sure that my machine is going to float. Just take a look at "One Beer Short of a Six-Pack"'s drivers face as he's entering the water. I think they captured the exact moment when he realized he was in trouble:)
That aside, what a neat idea, some of the designs are pretty interesting. However I would have just loved to see videos of that pink poodle going in the drink.
there is more money to be had both on the consumer and especially on the developer side with the consoles
Not true at all. An excellent example is Nintendo based consoles. Not only do you have to pay for an proprietary development environment, but you also have to pay for: Licenses, Production, Certification, that little sticker that sais "Nintendo", and a whack load of other stuff that you don't have with PC games. Oh and if you think that you can use the third party based development tools to develop and publish your game (unless ok'd by the console owner). The tools for developing GBA games are a good example. Well Nintendo's lawyers will be all over you like a fat kid on pancakes.
PC Games, you buy a system, with your prefered development software, you pick your own producer, you also pick your own promotions with it (say you want to bundle your game with something else). Good luck pulling half of that off with a console based product. Console is "here is what you are going to pay and here is what you are going to get back", PC is "I can pick what I want and how I want to do it" (within reason, and with some limitations).
PC gaming development is more open to the general public, vs, console is more geared to the big guys.
Don't get me wrong, console gaming has alot of pluses that PC gaming doesn't (static hardware, known configurations), where as supporting the ten billion combinations on the PC can be a huge nightmare. However what if your game has a bug? PC you can patch it, console you have to recall the game if its bad enough (and there are games out there like that), and that costs big bucks, so generally you don't do that and noone buys your game and your screwed
Olson twins shocked at poor sales of their PS2 game "Manic Mayham Mall". Sony blames Olson twins, Olson Twins blame Acclaim. Acclaim blames "Ralf" Acclaims the cuddly mascot, for peeing on the original game specs.
However they also have to expect that there are only so many sales out there. I mean how many PS2's does a family need? It was bound to happen. PC sales also saw a drop a few years back, no real surprise.
What if this *does* turn out to be the Ark, putting asside all the arguments for why it isn't possible and what not. Wouldn't that just be the wildest thing. I mean a story (that I personally took as just a tale) suddenly becomes true. I mean holy shit, thats pretty mind blowing if you ask me.
http://www.pocketsnes.net/ They have a few games going so far on it that have no speed issues, and they are working on fixing problems with other games. Tried it with a few games myself on my GBA, some work some don't (as expected) either case it is exciting to see these emmulators are in development!
Simply based upon the fact that the author or potentail author might like stamping on kittens and considers that fun. Where as I doubt that is what you would like in a game. Not to mention that its hard to have played all MMO games and get a fair representation of them for a comparison. Esp since you have to play for at least a few weeks to understand everything and know where to go for the action. So your comparison will be biased based upon what game you played last.
Based upon the number of subscribers is a fair comparison for "how fun they are". The ones with the most subscribers must appeal to a larger crowd and have something that draws them to it.
Personally I love playing WWII Online, constantly updated, they listen to the community for future updates, all around great job!
how these things are made. Smile!

i don't understand...was i supposed to email her a new mouse??
No you were supposed to e-mail her, to tell her to reboot her computer. Duh! Some support rep you are!
...10,000 Linux systems connected to your local system and it will all run snappy ;)

And the us government blanked out version can be found here.

Sheesh!
See you obviously don't belong here, as it is clearly "./ The planet". Guards, please have this trash removed.
or you can just look for the smudge marks...
does Canada value freedom and speech in all the same ways as the USA does?
;)
Dude in Ontario we allow women to walk around topless. Who the fuck cares about speech!

I can't afford to be buying new AMD processors each week just to try and sway the numbers.
Ah, good point.I imagine their customers think "Linux" is some sort of disposable window cleaning towlet that keeps rain off their windshield!
Its not!?!? Then what the hell have I been using all these years!?!

Bet this is exactly how it all happened.

Cool thanks, didn't know it was a rip off site. Won't go there again!

That can be used on the GBA.

Not to mention the funniest part:
I do not know what the contents of these disks are and cannot guarantee that they contain data from 'Mega-tree'
Hmmm ya feeling lucky?
