why do you have to add in the cost of the internet when you are going to get it anyway? I have been a cord cutter for 10 years and as long as you are careful as to what you are subscribing to, you will come out cheaper. I think the problem is, new cord cutters are not doing their homework. They are not looking at the costs of individual subscriptions, they are not looking at equipment costs and more.

  7. this means they will be pulling more content from prime video subscribers. It was bad enough t be in a middle of a prime video selection when it got moved to the amazons imdb freedive ad supported channel I guess they learned their lesson with the Anime Strike channel. that channel required a prime subscription and an additional subscription for the anime. nobody wanted to pay extra for the amazon channel so now they are trying ads..

as far as roku, I got tired of waiting through five minutes of commercials only to be told the video was not available or getting three minutes or more of commercials every seven minutes. it is now gathering dust.

  8. It is because of stupid and ridicules actions such as this is the reason I refuse to have a facebook account. you just cannot trust them.

  9. I don't have too much of a problem with push notifications, it is those videos I want stopped. some you have to wait for it to download before you can do anything with it, some you have to look for on a page because you hear it and not see it, some blocks what you are trying to read because it won't close.

Then there are those sites that constantly bomb you with their subscription popups. how about stopping those too. maybe if they stop the notification ones, it will stop those.
