    Who says it needs to survive the landing? It could conceivably just take pictures in flight.

    However having it land and be a remote spy-cam would be pretty handy. If the thing has 360 viewable, it must have multiple independent lenses, which means at least some of them will survive an impact.

    Most digital cable boxes allow you to lock out ppv and certain channels. Read the manual.

    If for whatever crazy reason yours does not, call the company and have them swap it out; for liability's sake I am sure they will be happy to do so.

    It negatively affected 38% of applicants? Which means 62% benefited from having a Facebook/myspace profile? This seems to be an argument for social networking, not against it.

    Except this is Herb Kohl... of Kohl department stores. I am pretty sure this guy is so loaded he doesn't need special interest groups funding his campaign.

    It is a sad commentary on American politics when we can say that the a politician is not corrupt because he is a filthy rich businessman.

    The company I work for got bought out and this was part of the new HR policies. They framed it in a vague way that most people read as: "you are not allowed to take half or partial days off anymore."

    In reality it means that for salaried employess; if you were to take a half/partial day, they have to pay you for a full day.

    I think the company is unable to do anything other then rely on the lower level managers to make sure nobody abuses this.

    I have not once had a cable outage coincide with a power outage.

    The ups connected to my cable modem and wireless router has never failed me. Except when the storm causes a surge on the cable line and blows up the modem. (happens to me about once a year, havent found a surge protector that will prevent it, but at least it doesn't blow up my router and computer anymore)
