I wonder if this will affect deaf people's ability to 'listen' to music at all. Having a wider range of frequencies should allow for more variations in vibrations, no?
How is this interesting?! If I posted "I bought the DVD, and it's definitely NOT worth it, regardless of other people's opinions." would that be modded up too? lunacy
Is that why Ask Jeeves threatened a lawsuit against the Something Awful website when one of their comedy goldmines featured photoshop parodies of the Ask Jeeves browser, whereas Google didn't seem to mind when the same was done to them? Maybe if they want to be respected as much as Google they should learn to act more mature, rather than throw lawsuits around when someone pokes a little fun at their product
They must REALLY not like this handbook. What reason could they have for posting the link to it twice in a matter of 12 hours other than to/. it into oblivion?;)
One more plus...I think the new controller is great; a great improvement over the N64 controller, and much better thay playstation/PS2. Probably the 1st controller I've felt comfortable holding and using since the NES. Ah yes, if only all the console makers stopped making all these silly "ergonomic" controllers and went back to the good old fashioned rectangle ones. now THAT was a good design.
uh, since when has nvidia had unstable drivers? They're usin' unified driver architecture, meaning that the same drivers that they made for the original Geforce 2 years ago now can be used with the geforce3 (although the drivers might need to be tweaked a little for the differentiating architecture). This gives Nvidia over 2 years to tweak their drivers for maximum stability and performance. the only reason why you're complaining, im assuming, is because you are using the leaked beta drivers that Nvidia never authorized. well guess what? they arent supposed to be out! So if you care about stability that much, just get yourself the official drivers and stop bashing the company for something it has done right:P
I wouldn't have expected anything less from the behemoth Microsoft. When a company becomes that big, it'll do anything in its power to stay that big, whether by friendly tactics (constant new products and new services) or unfriendly tactics ('nuff said)

can they trust him?
?? You can visibly tell that he's drunk. There's more than one picture, you know
Um, what makes you think he hasn't done either for 17+ years? Here are some photographs of him getting drunk quite recently

It's good to see an everything2 link on the front page; I thought the editors stopped doing that

There are more then two antivirus vendors around
Geordi La Forge didn't get his sight back until the 24th century!
A geforce2 mx playing any game at 1152x968 flawlessly? Maybe if you consider your games picture galleries....
Family Guy is back on the air as well and airs right before The Tick
