That's not entirely true. A friend of mine bought a netbook for the sole purpose of having something smaller than her MacBook Pro to carry around in her handbag during November for Nanowrimo.
One of the problem with spam laws is that the enforcement of laws is so weak compared to the number of people spammers make miserable and the time and resources they steal--o boo, hoo, they declared bankruptcy and had to serve two years in prison. What really needs to happen to high-profile spammers is that they need to be dragged from the courtroom where they have been found guilty and then dragged to their deaths before cheering, spitting mobs and film crews. Maybe display the corpses in gibbets outside of their ISP's office.
Yes, mobs are terrible, but laws without teeth lacking the ability the cross boarders suck too.
Being in the market (not literally) for a new one, I would be pleased to have a kidney printed.
I asked a doctor why they can't be transplanted like other organs and he said that it's because they're too fragile and would likely be damaged during the transplant process.
The data also show that old users resent Microsoft pulling the menu option. Way to alienate your user base. Considering how long they kept WP keystrokes as an option in Word, I find it funny that they suddenly felt that the menu had to be pulled altogether, without even an option to display it.
20 years ago driving drunk was pretty much ignored by police and "as long as the car knew its way home" things were fine. I would imagine "young'uns" must really find this hard to imagine, but there was really nothing seen as wrong with DUI. You just did.
USA poster here - The attitude you're describing pretty much ended in the late '70s. Twenty years ago drunk driving was a serious no-no, at least among the high school and college set. Mothers Against Drunk Driving had a lot of influence in the early '80s, and a lot of kids saw horror films (The Last Prom-"Joey and Cindy won't be having their last prom because they're DEAD!"). However, it appears that MADD overstepped, lost some credibility, and drunk driving is up again among the kids.

Try a Roth IRA--taxes get paid up front, no taxes are taken at the end*. Also try investing with a company/fund that diversifies risk. And if you don't like that company, move it.
*Sure, they could change their minds, but you really don't want to fuck with the survival money of old people. Many have firearms and figure they've already lived a full life.
Actually, if the function is just something called "ReadBytes(char *buf)" or similar, then that's a bit strange. If it was truly Microsoft-written, it would be: WINAPI DWORD ReadBytesW(LPCSTRWRAAXA szCharBufW_x, struct READBYTESINFO *srbinfArgs).
If I could mod you insightful, I would.

CYBORG-LIKE TYPING DETECTED
Please. I'm, a FarmVille gamer.
Why do they feel they need to advertise them? You can't just go and buy them OTC.
Because this way concerned patients become sales reps for the drug manufacturer.
It's not difficult to tell quarters from dollar coins. Quarters have ridges along the edge.
It's not this stuff ever made it to the moon.
Obligatory

Where is this claim being made? They do do pancreas transplants right here at Massachusetts General Hospital
Why not ask Microsoft that same question about the Surface?

That is the most blatant false advertising since my lawsuit against the movie, The Neverending Story.
Or the never ending video game Final Fantasy.

That description fits the New York Mets as well.
Abusing my ears with loud music and gun fire has resulted in some loss of hearing for me.
I want to party with you, guy.
So how long until we see bacteria resistant to this device?
How long does it take for SyFy to make one of their movies?

You're not going to want to carry the computer around with you all day, especially the added weight of chargers, etc.
Buy a handful of SD cards (or whatever) for the camera, and you can download everything when you get home.
Put down the Cheetos, lard-ass.
erm, the term is "even a broken clock is right twice a day
But "stopped" makes more sense, at least for an analog clock.
"Broken" could simply means that it loses a minute per day, in which case it's going to be right much less often.
Screw that, they'll be an iPhone app that does this in about two months that also makes fart noises.

Yeah, I went there.
