    I'd say the people that administred the X-Prize can do the job; They have a track record that gets results.

    Your words are relevant, and would be usable to those people that are agreeable to subsistence living; It should also be noted that there no known subsistence living culture that has survived successful expansion. The Universe is carelessly ambivalent of your views.

    The national budget is available for personal viewing, just "goggle" for it. Give yourself about 15 minutes, and you will know that around 4% of the budget goes to NASA. The products you use today have origins from NASA oriented work, NOT Welfare. We do need to help others, it is our culture; But, we MUST research new ways of providing goods, and services today, for the needs of tomorrow.

    Your understanding of even simple business operations is foundationless. I would strongly suggest that you review the elementry business concept of paying for a finished good or service. Then a simple reading of Venture Capitol Investing. If you look at the Government as a Venture Capitalist, then things begin to make sense.

Coping could be ignoring the event, shutting one's self in a room, or standing with your back to a wall staring out. Interestingly, Coping is taking the best course of action using what you have to work with at the time.

    There is ample information on the trends of governments that use totalitarian methods on its people. And there is ample information on governments that use few methods of control on its people. I would say that by helping our neighbors, world wide, and not alienating them will we, as a people, as a government, as a planet, move forward. And no, I'm not running for a political office; I can get an honest job.

    If the desperately paranoid want to feel better, then they could spend money on developing a mind reading device that can be used as far away as one meter, that the suspect will not know its being used, and the suspect will not be negatively affected by the use of this device.

    When I read the article. (Orange County Register), certain people were thinking of using the heat from this reacter to heat the oil/sand deposits to extract the oil. Two things got my attention to this, 'Project'?

    One was that Alberta had the biggest oil supply known. But it gets very cold in the winter time up there. And the oil is mixed in sand.

    The other item was the use of a nuclear plant to make hydrogen fuel, next to a large oil supply. The article did not go into the minor fact that concrete containers only have a shelf life of 20 years. The article didn't even begin to consider why it is that no new reactors have been belt. As I recall, nuclear power solutions were more expensive to maintain then other energy solutions.

    I'm begining to wonder if our view point of the power grid should be changed. Maybe the view point should be that the power grid should be used as a backup device. Given todays understanding, it may be possible to have a Fuel-Cell/Solar/Wind solution per residental house. That would leave the extra energy for business needs.

    Expect employee turnaround to be VERY high, about 90 days on average.

    Groups working on one task may help, till the collective thought process weakens. Then everyone goes home and sleeps, and start thinking about a new job.

    These people have to be VERY motivated. Maybe they've been offered what they think is a BIG pot of gold at the end of the rainbow/project.

    1. From my orientation of the universe, this guy is looking at some jail time.
    2. Trusting people is NOT always a good thing to do.
    3. If He hasn't gotten his Keylogger back, that's theft, depending on the reward value, Grand Theft.
    4. If the Keylogger is blank, he can say that the insurance company violated HIS privacy.
    5. If the Keylogger is blank, he can say that the insurance company used his property WITHOUT his permission.
    6. If the Keylogger is blank, he can say that the insurance company has obstructed justice.
    7. Don't call that Bitch again!
    8. Now he knows that the law is only concerned about rules broken, and methods not used correctly.
    9. Now he knows that the law is NOT concerned about moral values.
    10. Of course he could be looking at a wrongful termination suit. I don't think its stated anywhere in his employee manual that its against company policy to log the actions of his employer. And because he does not log his time going potty, other 'personal' actions may not need to be logged also.

    Administrative Note:
    To future 'loggers' out there, "Don't tell anybody anything about how you came into ownership of information, EVER." If you need proof of this; Then correctly answer the question, "Who is Deep Throat?" Hint; I'm not refering to the titled movie.

    I was able to get this using the Google Search Engine to search "Linux update howto". In under 5 minutes, I was able to easily answer this question. I like easy questions.
