Maybe we should sue Al Gore for inventing the internet (his words not mine) and turning everyone into perverts who surf for porn. Or maybe we should sue RCA for inventing the first consumer television and making so many of us into overweight couch potatoes.
No politician will let this go through, otherwise none of them would be re-elected if they had to go through one. Come to think of it, no politician would ever get elected, and we would have mass chaos. This is a doomsday device for sure!!!! We're all gonna die, I just know it.
Saved thousands of lives???? Ask Gary Kildall's wife about that. Ask other people whose lives have been ruined by his illegal antics. The fact that this weenie schmuck gives away money to homeless hotdog vendors or whatever makes what he does OK??? Read the book "Under the Radar" by Wendy Goldman Rohm which goes into detail about some of the shit he did years ago, and continues to do today.
$100.00 is more than some of these families make in a YEAR. How is a laptop going to help that? I can see it now... Little Johnny fires up his laptop, looks up info on his country on a Gooogle search and learns how he is so poor compared to children in other countries and his laptop is not in color. Little Johnny was happy before, now you've made him into a depressed impoverished child.
If it's a orange tree or just about any citrus tree, you can put electrodes into the fruit and get 1.5 volts per orange, put 8 of them in series and you can get your 12 volts. It would be enough to power a low power device like a radio or help charge a laptop, but you'd need a shitload of wires and orange trees to power your house.
Great idea, but...

Let's take this idea to the government level. Who cares if a book should have a different ending, let the ass-monkeys in Washington do this with the people they are supposed to serve.
If someone has a disease/disability and there are experimental treatments available, assuming that the patient was told all the risks, yada, yada, yada Why shouldn't they be allowed to try it on a human who would otherwise have no current possibility of a cure. If someone not affiliated with the medical or pharmacy field who had a disease tried manufacturing their own drug and tried it on themself, should that be illegal??
I could not have stated it better than you. You are at work, you are being paid to work, not P2P or IM. Do it and you are fired. Where I was, we have this policy as well as not allowing users to install their own software. No P2P software or IM software is originally on the machine, if it shows up, the machine gets formatted as so does your employment.
Yes they were modding, but they were also loading games onto the hard drive that were not purchased. Therein lies the big "no-no"... It's just a game, but if nobody bought them, nobody would be able to play them.
Bill Gates, chairman of Microsoft, on hearing of the news about Estonia's good fortune utilizing Linux for their successful voting, purchased the country. The voting is now nullified with the purchase, however all citizens who voted will be given discount coupons on purchases of any Microsoft product.
My wife always complains that I stand there with the refrigerator door open looking for something to eat. Now I won't take her crap, and I'll look around the fridge longer with the damn door open and I can help global warming at the same time. Maybe people will start looking up to me as some kind of hero...

Isn't that what Kirstie Alley is spending to look smaller too???
George W. Bush was the first recipient of this in human form. The synapses were reduced by 80% to save energy.
Sounds like a Neuralizer like in Men in Black, just in pill form.
How come no one posted about visiting Uranus?
Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain....

What if we were to use the same technology to see into the minds of Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer, and while we're at it, George Bush.
I've been waiting for this for a long time. Maybe it will allow me to go back in time and make my first marriage never have happened.
If MS uses it, then it has to be a word....

You mean like Microsoft did? And we know what great quality products they put out right????

But how fast will it run a DOS version of DOOM?
How about "Pictureshop"? Doesn't sound anything like Photoshop, but the name implies what it does.

That sounds just like Micro$oft... root... updates...
The contaminent has been put through a battery of tests and after careful analysis , it was determined to be a double shot decaf latte from Starbucks.
And if you're worried about a fender-bender in your nano-car, Earl Scheib has signed on for painting them with "no ups and no extras..."
