I had a friend in high school who always wrote in cursive, and this was...a year ago, so I'm pretty sure he's still under 30. I think that he was the only one in the whole school who still did, though.
Actually, the concept of Metal Gear (a mech-thingy that is capable of launching a nuclear strike from anywhere in the world) is something that would probably translate well into a movie, unlike some other tries. Hopefully, if it is made, it will not be incredibly stupid.
Have you actually looked at the explanation of GI's review section? They specifically state that 7 is their "average" score, on a scale from 1 to 10. Whether or not this is sensible is debatable, but the fact that that is the way they do it doesn't change.
Spammers will hire scumware authors to write apps that packet sites who target spammers, making the circle complete. Then, the masses (tm) will get infected with the scumware. It isn't that hard to figure out.
The 2004 comp entries seem to only be available (at least on the comp page) as a zip archive, so opening them individually off of the server wouldn't be too easy.
I have a strange writing style which is very dissimiliar line by line. some slants back from the top, some goes forward, some cursive, some print, some all-upper, etc. I write some characters starting at the top, some at the bottom, sometimes not the same word to word.
How many thousands of/. posts have there been about people who still use Windows because it's the only "game" OS? Now when there's some marginal number of people who bought a Mac because they have an ipod, people are all "OMG SO NOT TRUE!11". What's the deal, man?
(don't think about this if you go to the emergency room at 3 a.m.)
Do any submitters or editors on this website spare a second to actually use their brain? Are you honestly suggesting that the nurses and doctors working at 3 AM have all worked 50+ hours in the last seven days? If you are, you have obviously never come into contact with anyone who has ever worked at a hospital. The people who work the graveyard shift are people whose internal clocks work well with that time, otherwise they wouldn't be working then.
...and photocopied the sections of the book for the occasion of receiving a ticket. Oops. Guess I broke some copyright laws there.
That sounds awfully catch-22ish. On a side note, I think all laws should be legally required to be available on an electronic medium (say CD-ROM) for public use. This way, we aren't wasting money on $800 hard copies and anyone with access to a computer can read up on whatever law they need to know about.
I tried Guild Wars out over the "open" weekend, and it struck me as sort of a traditional (pen & paper) RPG that was stuck into a computer world. It was very different, and very cool.
I know that this isn't the same quality as WoW, but this game seems to be publisher-free, and they offer a free downloadable client with a (sort of restricted) free account.
Seriously... this reminds me of people who push their favorite book on everyone as a "gift," and then constantly harass them if they haven't read it yet.
...why does he need TV evangelists to speak on his behalf?
God doesn't need TV evangelists. I would argue that these kooks have hurt Christianity more than helped it.

As a geek, how can you purchase music from a group that fights one of our most sacred words?
South Africa and Liberia have iTMS?

Plant a PC/Mac: grow a house
Plant a Beowulf cluster: grow an apartment complex.

"In Soviet Russia, Korean old people are for YOU!"
Hopefully, the cross-reference will create a memetic explosion that takes out both cliches at the same time.
Hopefully.
I have some anvils I could sell ya', but the shipping will be, ahh, extra.
Some obscure registry tag called "WindowsAlwaysBroken" is set to 0 instead of 1. Too bad only MS knows where it is...
Metal Gear Solid, Eternal Darkness, Resident Evil, yeah, they're all kid games.
Enlighten Yourself

This just means you suck at writing.
Haha, kidding, I do most of that sutff too.

Irony: posting the text of an article about the harm of one website to a forum of a website that will destroy the target site's server in 5..4..3....
Well, heavy metal is the devil...
I definitely agree with this. Especially the Christian heavy metal bands.
...

Pwned. Better luck next time, ass.

Well said. People who believe this need to start organizing and make thier voices heard.

P.S.: j/k, i'm actually a christian, etc
God forbid we use a CPU to process things other than what the box says it should.
