I had a stuck throttle (electronically to boot! Wasn't the physical pedal or its linkages, it was via an ECU) on my 82 Volvo not long ago.
Instead of sitting there like a moron, and winning a Darwin award for me and my family, I used the built-in anti-stuck trhottle control --I turned the engine OFF. I had more than enough vacuum to use the brakes to stop.
Are we talking about ChaCha? They did that about a year ago I believe. Somewhere, I posted the email about it and left a review of their app on the Mac Store or wtfever it is iPhones use.
A more direct answer is: I exposed the bastards. Fuck them.
Seat back (But not ghetto back), lumbar adjustment all the way up/on/forward, rear of seat up (if possible) and seat moved up. 9 and 3 generally. (For reference, I'm 180cm tall, med build)
Tolerance to LSD builds up rapidly; even if you are presented with more LSD right after, chances are, you'd have to take more of it to have the same effect. Tolerance also fades fairly rapidly as well. Heavy use would be every weekend, compared to many other drugs where heavy use implies almost hourly/small multiples of.
Set and setting -- remember this, and most of your trips will be pleasant.
Indeed. Here in Portland, OR where we have one of the better LRT programs in the US (The fare is actually higher than the boarding cost), the label of the "Crime Train" persists, despite the fact that maybe a small percentage use it for that -- the vast majority are people going to and from work, and are voluntary riders, i.e., they have a car, and could use it.
None of the people that call it that would want it to go away, no matter how much they say they do. Our roads can barely handle the volume now -- it'd be disastrous for traffic here if all those MAX riders started using cars again.
The fact of the matter is that junkies still need their drug and they probably aren't making enough money to pay for all their life's needs (including drugs, food, shelter, etc). Even if the drug is legal, it still puts junkies in a position to commit crimes - either because they decided to rob people for money or because the drug dealer pushes them into it.
I disagree. My marijuana is legal, and I grow it myself. I'm not out robbing places. I know the quality. I know what it's been fed. No glass. No short weighs. I don't get high before or during work. And I don't really even smoke more than I used to 10, 20 or even 30 years ago.
Being that I am 45, may also have to do with why I'm an exception. I deal with it responsibly. I work a normal (well, it's all geeks there, and so's the owner; we are treated very well) job doing remote-based tech support. My life is in no way out of the ordinary -- except I use marijuana for my muscle spasms/insomnia. (And on occasion, recreational usage, I won't lie.)
Blasting all these blanket statements around only fuels things; I speak only of my personal experience, and hopefully, insight to point out why such broad strokes are horrid for logic in arguments.
I think I have an even better analogy. Imagine trying to pick out the light from a star, with a several 500W HPS lamps in the parking lot you're in (L^2's terrestrial xmtrs). Now the light operators are blaming your faulty equipment (your eyes) for why they can't see the stars (satellite signals).
Let's also not forget that the transition to ATSC from NTSC took well over a decade, with an original date sometime in 2003-4 iirc. (We're talking a standard approved by the FCC back in 1996.)
Let's apply that to L^2. We can change how GPS units are made giving the industry time to catch up, and for consumer devices to be replaced as they fail, and the spectrum should be ready for L^2's *repurposed spectrum* around 2021 to 2025. Of course, by that time their business model probably won't exist.

Haven't seen a virus from any of my downloads in *years* (2005-ish?); most torrents can, and will, max out my 25/25 pipe. Insofar as minimal, running one extra program before you start it up is not a hassle.
I guess if you're one of the suckers using public toilets, err, public trackers then it might be an issue.

I prefer my 1982 Volvo 244 DL :)

Sadly, heroin junkies don't mind looking like diabetics.
Damn it, I have to cover my light bulbs with foil too now?

Don't worry, one of them was at my house for dinner (Tostadas); I passed this article on to them :)
(Oddly enough, this is really what happened)

Oregon ftw: 0% Sales Tax.
I agree. Should they get a weekend at the Hilton, or a Ramada?

Like the Chihuahua, it makes up for its lack of size with attitude and a loud ident.

OWS *was* a liberal movement. They're toast -- guess costing taxpayers more money wasn't a good strategy.
