Think again dildo. Have you ever used linux, or even knoppix for that matter? Just because there's no swap file, doesnt mean that it doesnt MOUNT the drives. It doesnt modify the hard drive but it DOES mount every volume it can. Precisely why it makes a good diagnostic tool and recovery agent. Try it some time, and see if you can read your hard drive.
Will SUSE support these windoze apps natively, or will this be just WiNE integration. I suppose if WiNE is integrated so well, it's transparent to the user, then that could be percieved as native.

I took one look at the host domain and didnt try for that very reason. Theres no sense in me clickin on a geocities link thats on my slashdot homepage. The mere fact that a site hosted by geocities actually made it to the site is a little silly. C'Mon ppl, use a little common sense. Consider how much b/w you guys use per month. Lets say that only 5% of readers actually go to(or try) to go to the site. Now, I have no idea how much b/w u guys use or how much geocities allows, but im sure 5% of what you guys PAY for far exceeds what geocities gives away. My Point: make the term/.ed obsolete Just MHO.
Norton A/V comes as a bootable cdrom, and you can make a set of rescue disks that you can use. I suppose you could also make a bootable cdrom (Nero does that) with the vdefs on it, and use some autoexec file to do a batch scan of the system using the latest defs from the CD. So simple even a janitor could do it!!!
The product you seek is a solid state hard drive . AFAIK, they have been on the market for about 3-4 years, in not longer.
This article might be of some use as far as pricing such an item. Also pretty cool talking about setting up a solid state raid, which is pretty absurd as far as going with the concept of trying to increase the speed; but with access times below.1 ms, it seems pretty sbsurd.
This site seems to have a price on some surplus quantum rushmores, but i dont know what a good price on these are, and therefore dont know what a good price would be.
AMD is better because they take the time and engineer the shit out of their product.
1. A 1600 mhz proc(Ath. XP 1900+) beat out a 2000 mhz proc(with 2x the L2 cache(512 kb)!)
2. Intel is always first to market, pushing FSB speed, but the have not been able to get proportionate performance gains.
3. The only reason Intel sells more is that their marketing dept. is 8x the size of AMD's.
This concludes my random tirade of the day.
For an unrelated and equally random tirade you might want to check out the article posted earlier in the day, Review:U-571
If you don't install windows onto the c drive(or at all), then you're all good. If it's coded, then the coder must assume things about the targets. You start assigning arbitrary drive letters, that will surely mess with something.
creative didn't do away with the midi port, it's an option now, simply a pin header on the card, not taking up any more of that valueable back panel space. it's all taken care of buddy, believe me, i am a proud owner of an sb audigy(best thing that ever happened to me).
I work in a local computer shop (blatant plug: PCW Computer in Orange,CT,USA). so either our prices don't change(and we get all of their business), or our prices go up(and we reap the rewards!).
MICROSOFT monopolies are bad. Adobe has a good one in this case.

I remember seeing on an OEM's ad(either dell or gateway) a clause that goes something like this.
OTHER FACTORS MAY AFFECT SYSTEM PERFORMANCE.
this should be sufficient enough to snuff out any suits that pop up. definately this one.
