...and you watch a video of another minor stripping, that's a felony? But if that same minor watches the other consensually strip for him in person that's legal? This boggles the mind: an analog copy - illegal, the real act - legal.

What if a minor records themself masturbating, are they then guilty of possessing child porn? What if they then watch the video of themselves as adults, are they guilty of viewing child porn? Is it possible to commit a crime against oneself?

...yes you must have a landline active to get DSL. At current, this is the rule, not the exception. In addition to having to pay for a landline, most DSL carriers require you to 1) sign a contract, and 2) buy the modem (either from them or bring your own). Msot even charge you to install it as well. And DSL prices are high as well.

For the most the cable guys will 1) install it free, 2) not require you to sign a contract, 3) not require you to get TV cable, and 4) provide the modem free for use (you give it back when you cancel). The is the RULE, not the exception (there are some areas that operate DSL-like, but they are rare).

Firefox is certainly not the 100% foolproof panacea most are touting it to be. Every day I'll get at least one popup (which doesn't get blocked) that has to be shut down via task manager and not clicked on for fear of it having a booby trapped 'close button' that really installs something.

Having said that, for GT type racing, you will want to check out the upcoming GTR by SimBin (demo available). Or try to find a copy of EA's F1 Challenge 99-02 and try out some of the GT mods available for it. Even F1 2002 will be good. Papyrus' NASCAR Racing 2003 is also a good candidae if you want to run some generic road physics with the "T/A" mods from The US Pits or Project Wildfire (both available at The US Pits).

I've seen this done to my account TWICE already.

The first time happened when I got a trojan after getting caught in a porn spin cycle (joke all you want, I don't care). And yes, I was using Firefox, not IE. Anyway I thought I had eradicated all traces of it until one day that my modem's power light is flashing. I call to see what's up, and they let me know that my comp was sending out spam, and to fix it, and it will be reset. After a reformat and informing them, I was back on.

The second time was four days ago. I have a mailing list of about 800 sim racers who like to receive info on my league yearly, so I sent out mass bcc mails in batches of 100 (I think RR's mail limit is about 120). Well about four hours after this, I needed to send a mail to someone, and I get back an error message upon sending. I look it up at RR's help site and it denoted that my SMTP mailing privileges were suspended for the day for possible spam activity (regular surfing was not suspended).

Yeah, the activation CSR asks for a SSN, but it's very easy to give them a fake one (which is what I did), as well as giving them other fake info. I play racing simulations, and 30fps is the MINIMUM we need, else it gets real choppy, and choppiness isn't what you want when you're trying to make a pass on a tough opponent that's literally inches away, especially when spining out is not an option. Couple this with possible latency on the other driver's part, and it starts adding up. When a wreck does occur, that's when the fps usually go down since the CPU is now going into overdrive doing heavy calculations. Trying to get through someone else's wreck, or trying to save your car in a spinout, 10fps isn't gonna cut it at that point.

So one needs a buffer of extra fps. 60fps is usually good, as it gives a nice cushion for when the fps draining wrecks occur.
