good, earthlink is the only option to AOL out here where I live. I hate all the other local ISP's cause their too slow. I live out in rural Ohio and there's nothing out here except chickens and cow dung. So, long live earthlink.. cause out here, their the only ones who can stop the evil empire (AOL)

I have the emulator with Metal Slug (even now my favorite game, magicians lord, crossed swords, and that monster fighting game (although it always ran slow compared to the others) n-e-one know why?

I just saw that on techtv to. what about bleamcast? i kinda figured it wouldn't be out after the dreamcast cancelation. to bad. I luv dreamcast!!!! did they ever officially declare it dead? i read several interviews and articles on it.
I just recently started collecting consoles. All kinds I wanna get them all. I have 64, genesis, snes, nes, GMB, 3do, dreamcast. There are so many more out there. if you have one of them and are willing to sell please contact me.
After reading all of these responses I'm gonna go with linux. I've been going for all of the old computer parts that I can get and so now I'm gonna build a new one or um, old one but a computer none the less and now I'm gonn aput Linux on it. thanx for all of your input I'm goin Linux.:)
After being on slashdot for almost 2 years I have finally decided something. I want to code. It may sound dumb to some to not know where to go for coding help, but starting today I want to know something beyond my simple HTML and QBASIC. Now, for the big question, where can I go to learn how to code and what should I learn first? I've been told by many to learn PERL or JAVA first but I figyure where could possibly be better to ask tahn slashdot? PLEASE HELP!!!!
I'm a cheap skate so I'm definatley going to buy it. all i use are inexpensive or old parts. for ex. my soon to be linux machine has got a cyrix processor in there (200 mhz. but it's got the pre-raid architecture) a sonique sound card from the early nintees, 48 megs of old dram, and some old cdrom that i've never heard of.
I don't think it would have been nearly as bad if they had a better actor to play Anakin (Haley Joel Osmand would have been perfect). I'm only 16 but I'm definatley not a newbie to Star Wars. I wasn't born till' after they came out but in the nature of a true geek I was running around my yard as a tie fighter at the age of 4. Hopefully Episode 2 will be aimed at an older audiance.

Final Fantasy might not have had the best story line ever but it did have the best CG. There were times in which I'm sure I forgot they weren't real.
