Well there are 2 kinds of scares as I see it cheap scares and creepy scares.
Cheap: Doom 3 or any movie where a cat jumps on the hood or the car. These ones work on surprising you, Doom 3, works until you figure out how it works. Half way through it it didn't scare me as much.
Creepy: F.E.A.R., Silent Hill, or for movies The Ring, Exorcist, Omen, etc. I personally like these better, I guess they use anxiety instead of surprise. In F.E.A.R. when you enter the hallway where the door closes (you know the one), it really scared the hell out of me. I knew it was coming the moment I entered it but it scared me anyway.
Doom 3 was scary for the first few levels, afterwards you knew that when you enter a room the first thing you do is look behind you cause a hidden door opened and there's a bad guy there. I found F.E.A.R. scarier from beginning to end, the hallucinations were awesome, or when youre in the elevator and the creepy girl is suddenly there... cool...
Well, I'm running on a AMD 64 3500, 1GB RAM, GeForce 6800GT with everything maxed and it works perfectly. I have noticed in the Bethesda forums that some kickass machines (like yours) have problems when others not as good (like mine) work perfectly. Weird.

I don't know but the one about Fry's dog is the saddest and most depressing cartoon I have ever seen.
Of those shows the good ones were Wonder Falls, Firefly, Keen Eddy. If you like good but stupid Andy Richter Controls The Universe, The Tick. Yes, The Pitts sucked, as much as The 80s show.
I call it "The Restore Ghost". It restores old bugs I know i fixed. When I check the source code I know exactly where the problem is because I already fixed it. No, is not Deja-Vu, I clearly remember I fixed it.
They showed it in one of those chats that Dish Network's CEO gives every once in a while. You can get more info here. The interesting thing is that the satellite receiver is the one that sends the video, you don't download it. As soon as you connect the cable it will recognize that there is a PocketDish at the other side (at least that's how it looked to me). I'm sure someone will make a PocketDish emulator for PCs soon.:)
