That's a BS excuse. Even my old second generation iPhone from 2008 supported multiple email accounts.https://politics.slashdot.org/story/18/07/13/1629245/special-counsel-mueller-charges-12-russian-intelligence-officers-with-hacking-democrats-during-2016-election.
Our online marketing manager had her account deleted a few weeks ago, and her assistant's account was deleted sometime this year since January when she last used it. I just checked my account, and other people can't see my Tweets. Twitter is really shooting themselves in the foot with this.
Post something not negative to/r/poltics and see what happens. I was banned last week for posting a story about more jobs than were expected were added last month.
More disturbing is that Microsoft is now remodeling buildings to make them more open. Their software is going to get even worse. I have three friends that are probably going to move to their Dublin location, and the pictures I saw of their workspace was completely open tables with no dividers. I don't know if they're going to add dividers later, but it looks bad. But at least it has an LED waterfall and a wold-class bakery.
Exactly. What's why that document and the Constitution need to be thrown out. As the supreme justice Ginsberg said, she wouldn't use the Constitution as the basis for any sane form of government. She wants to stop using it.
Like happens when you call Apple with their crappy VRU they've had for several years. By the dozenth time I've said "MacBook," I'm already pretty frustrated.
Even on our Dell servers under support contracts, crucial offers memory upgrades that work more often than even Dell. That is why we buy from crucial. Even with so-called next day support, it sometimes takes us weeks or even months to get Dell to dispatch. Crucial will usually work and even sometimes send out other memory DIMMs that work well before we could get Dell to honor their so-called next day support.
I respectfully disagree. I work with a lot of guys working "Seattle Hundreds" that are productive. I used to be able to work those hours, but at my age I really start getting confused and my short-term memory shot after about sixty hours a week, but I'm almost twice as old as my coworkers. Communication and understanding the problem and the code is such a tremendous overhead that it's more efficient to have developers regularly work 80+ hour weeks.
I wouldn't say no ethics. The guy that lied and claimed the shooter was a Trump supporter was fired. If they had no ethics, he wouldn't have been fired, much less so quickly.
Uninspired is right. I interviewed at their location in Bellevue, WA (former HQ of Microsoft and the current HQ of Expedia is a block south) a few months ago, and I think all of the interviewers mentioned their "Mindfulness Zone." Sounds like pandering to millennials. My passion in tech is making things simpler and faster for users. They instead talked about grand ideas and the importance of doing things differently from everyone else. They sent me a rejection by email saying they didn't think I would fit into their culture because of my age. They put that in writing. That's just plain stupid and opens them up to a lawsuit.
Anyway, their location is pretty damn nice as this video shows:
In a sprint planning meeting now where it took 35 minutes to eventually score the first story. Not getting off of the first page is right. Only about 35 more stories to go.
That incident didn't get near the coverage in the media that it deserved. It contained potentially incriminating data including mental health and financial records from background checks for over 20 million people. It's a gold mine of potential blackmail information that could be used against our federal employees and military.
That helps some, but isn't the complete solution. You still have to be able to access the data in an automated way.
For example, we use encrypted columns with Microsoft's attempt at an SQL server, and of course if you have a bug in your web app then that doesn't help since it will still expose unencrypted data. Another example is using encrypted at rest file systems. Doesn't help when the drive is mounted.
software. They can't even add a simple feature to the most commonly used tool on Windows. You'd think at least one team there could be productive considering how siloed they are. My best friend from high school got a job with them when their HQ was in Bellevue (think that was in 1980) and many more people I know have worked there over the years, and they've all complained about things never improving. You'd think by chance some group would figure-out how to make better software then others would copy what they're doing.
Older Dell laptops like the Latitudes can accept an SD card so that it doesn't stick out, but newer laptops, including Apples, they stick out about a 1/3 of the size of the card so they constantly get damaged and/or damage the slot. How about making damn cards that fit before changing standards to support cards that don't exist yet?
And that system goes way too far. My boss posted something about Lauren Southern (think I have her name right) to Facebook, and everyone that used Facebook from our office was required to submit proof of ID to Facebook in order to keep using our accounts. They not only censor the posters, they also censor everyone at the same IP.
A couple of people couldn't get Facebook to reenable their account. That was a major problem since one was our online marketing manager. Facebook lost out on advertising money since we can no longer run campaigns.

Then thank God for the Russians!

And it doesn't sound like they're increasing the max allowed memory. We've been stuck at 16 GB for over six years. Sad that they call that "Pro."
Or trumpgret. I was banned from both for not being anti-Trump enough. They are true echo chambers.
You forgot to mention hot grits.
But seriously, Trump is putting the importance of space above the people.

The banning there is out of control.
And it took over 55 years to beat the old record. Doesn't sound like it's getting that much warmer.
disturbing others, of course you talk less.

useless as amazon.com reviews. Thanks for the warning.
I'm sure none of us have ever made a mistake like that. /s

Well their president is a lawyer and also their chief legal officer.
