Consumers and small innovators get burned badly already, but large corporations seeking government protection from competition have a "gentleman's" agreement (defensive portfolios and cross licensing) to not cause each other severe harm. Sometimes you see saber rattling like the Oracle/Google conflict, but that is just theater as they collude on how certain markets will be split between them.
Who did you hear this from, a guy in a bar? Give us some details man, inquiring minds want to know. Wikipedia says Seagate is talking about a combination of patterned media and HAMR, but both technologies appear to be years into the future.
My Playstation 3 came with the same crappy Spiderman disc and a coupon for some "selected" free Blurays which included "300" (aka, "the crapfest continues"). You would think they would throw at least one adequate movie in there as a showcase, but no.
Every morning at the senate, you could see him arrive.
He stood 5 foot 6, weighed 145.
Kind of broad at the hips and narrow of mind.
And everybody knew you had to pay to play with Big Ted.
I watched the DVDs of the very first Popeye episodes. The DVDs have a warning about non-PC content. In the first few episodes you see over the top offensive depictions of various ethnic and racial groups ending in the brutal beating of said groups by Popeye.
It was like clockwork, one group per episode. The Betty Boop pilot had blacks, then the following episodes had Mexicans (slothful/drunk/knife carrying), then Native Americans (big nose, feathers, saying "how"), and on and on. The 1930's was a different era in the USA for sure.
So the time frame is only over 5 years? Cars can and do last longer than that. Also the comparisons are against the non-hybrid equivalent (Camry Hybrid v Camry, Fusion Hybrid v Fusion). What did they compare the Prius to since it does not have a conventional equivalent?
I agree TLC has become a total crap wasteland, but TLC is a Discovery company just like Discovery Channel, Animal Planet and Science Channel. It's just a different orifice of the same company.
He will likely do only 6 months of actual jail time and he can declare bankruptcy to avoid the $900K claimed by the city. By this time next year, he can exercise his control freakery at KFC protecting the Colonel's secret recipe.
Maybe it was the way she moved her hands up and down the soldering iron and then flicked the tip. Just hope she does not go all Lorena Bobbitt with that thing.
...nearly half of the working population pays nothing.
You are confused. 47% payed no federal income tax. But they did pay 15% federal payroll taxes split between employer and employee, which does not apply to income over $105K so that's a break for the well off. There is also state income tax, state and local sales tax, and property tax.
It's simple Scarface economics...
That's appropriate for today's announcement of Iran's new bombing drones.
Ahmadinejad: Say hello to my little friend...

That might not be so bad if they are more creative than the knobs that came up with "Count Dooku", "Darth Sidious", and "General Grievous".
So what're we supposed to do?
Panic! Ha ha, just kidding.
As far as I can tell, you are supposed to click on the advertisements in the article.

It looked a little like he was fabricating a self igniting bong.

The summary spells out what a PLEX is, so I did not have to google PLEX. Geddit? Ha.
TLC makes Discovery look like PBS.

One made from 100 dollar bills and wet with the tears of laid off employees and their families. It's probably monogrammed with his initials too.
Just think of all the fatties as a reserve, slow moving meat supply for the apocalypse.

I always enjoyed a quick round of Global Thermonuclear War. IIRC that was included with the WOPR/OS.
Your post should have had a spoiler warning, now I feel unmotivated to read the article.
If it's internal why would you have to pay per year for that?
The 30lb bags of Purina IT Chow are a recurring cost.
I saw it on Monty Python's Meaning of Life. (Part V - Live Organ Transplants)
It's magical and revolutionary as long as you don't click it in the wrong way.
