I swear to Jesus, it's no wonder people are so dizzy that they're willing to vote for the spawn of Biff Tannen and Benito Mussolini for president. This is what they get for news.
Oh, about the forum and post count, I've learned that easily over half the posts will be in the off-topic forums. People might join a site to discuss a particular topic, but they will bring up everything under the sun wherever they are. Forums are social places (web 2.0?) and anywhere people meet, random topics occur.
About the PMs between each other: if you think these users are colluding, they aren't using your forum to do it. They might even be baiting you with the content of PMs. You say you have a "clear statement that you won't read PMs unless served a lawful warrant," and they might be testing that. So be sure to stick to your written policies. In my younger days I remember testing people's access to information by using the PM functions on forums.
Another interested reader here. I'll read your updates too. I used to play with some phpBB forums with a buddy back in high school with active user counts in the low double digits. I'm concerned about this "entryism" tactic being used by any group of people, SJWs or anybody else.
For the first time in a very long time, I clicked through to the article! The numerous other comments about the video made me want to go see it for myself. Yay, non-auto-playing video!
Watching the robot walk around outside and almost but not trip or fall made me cry and laugh at the same time. And then, when watching the person knock the robot over, I cried even more. It's incredibly mean to do, but I realize this is just testing.
I think the ability of the robot to survive the fall and stand up again is amazing!
Agreed. Whenever my teamviewer session can't start, I go check twitter to see if other people are having problems. If it's the service in general, I'm less concerned about my own equipment at that point.
So unrelated to the story specifically, but this is a discussion about a woman in technology who actually does stuff? She's not complaining about SJW issues; she's out there fighting the fight with us-- for us! So for once, we can relax and not have a big feminism discussion just because a woman is doing something tech-wise.
I had one of these books growing up! I recognize which one, too. https://drive.google.com/open?... "Introduction to Computer Programming: BASIC for Beginners." I loved programming in QuickBASIC 4.5 (and then QBX, or 7.1). I am a sysadmin now, not a programmer, but I definitely got my love of computers from stuff like this. Another good set of cherished computer books from my childhood was the Micro Adventure series: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/...
Exactly. To say nothing of a larger organization with even more systems. My environment has ~2000 desktop-equivalents going through the corporate proxy. Even if WSUS or some other Windows Update management tool were in place, the rest of the traffic would be enormous.

FTFY

Maybe we could use him to SWAB the deck?
No, it means that it violates the RFC.

If the content were the focus, it would be just another wing of the Library.
You guys remind me of How White People See Rap Battles LMAO.
On my iPhone 13 while taking an uber to my airbnb for my stacation.

Thank you, Shari.
Just remember what happens to designer humans: "We offered the world ORDER!"
Nope, his memory is still intact, unlike his...
When autonomous weapons are outlawed, only the government will have unstoppable armies of soulless killing machines.
FTFY. Emphasis mine.

Mother of all 3D printers, you say? So if we kill that one, no more "3D-printed" nonsense? Hm...
Wait, people let their Downloads directory fill up with stuff? Mine is cleaned at least weekly. I treat it like the os treats /tmp

Mad cow disease is for cows! You are all cows, moo?
Ohhhh, so it's yet another propaganda spiel from the GOP, can't they finally let this "Hillary and her mail server" bit rest?
When Hilary's political career gets to rest, that's when this topic may rest.
2. Don't open hawtsexyclinton.mov.exe when it arrives in your inbox.
Ffft. It didn't work anyway.
It worked for me, but all it did was install an email server.
Relatedly, interest rates are barely above absolute zero.
I knew it! Calories are a shit measurement.
and very painfully. Probably meathooks.
