    While I agree with you, some of the flight battles were awesome, but I for one always wanted more light saber duels/battles.

    I wonder if FireFox' crashes have to do with stupid web pages with embedded active X controls, dumb implementations of Java because they have been DESIGNED to be used on IE. Don't you just LOVE when you get those web pages that say you MUST use IE to view this webpage?

    I will take FireFox' instability(FOR NOW), tabbed browsing, and speed, over the insecure, slow IE any day.

    Not only are the companies' cultures VASTLY different and would never mesh well, there isn't a feasible synergy among the two. It would not make business sense I believe.

    Search engines are ubiquitous now. Google pretty much owns this domain. Not only that, they are well respected by everyone. Microsoft is not respected by many people. There's no need to switch. There is no value added benefit for someone to switch or use Microsoft's new search.

    It would be a truly daunting and very expensive task to retro-fit the US with South Korean-like broadbrand. Especially with all the bureaucracy in telecommunications. The point is we should look to them and try to learn from their experiences and mistakes.

    The new 8MP cameras produce tremendous amounts of noise at low ISO.

    For the price of these 8MP cameras, you can get the canon rebel digital or even the Nikon D70 and you have a quality digital SLR, ability to change lens, and excellent results at low ISOs.

    I just bought a Canon 10D. As the parent said in this thread, I just need the lenses and this package will be good for me for years...
