Every now and then, my inbox page won't load after authenticating when I try to access gmail from behind our corporate firewall, works fine everywhere else.
My roommate's media computer has a HiPix DTV-200 HD Tuner, and the on screen display shows the video dimensions, bitrate, signal quality and HD Format. You might be able to use one of these if you can't find the listing info you're looking for. Though you might be able to get more info on AVSFourum.com rather than slashdot though. Best of luck to you
boosting their revenue from digital music sales, which aided by the sale of mobile phone ringtones, are increasing but not quickly enough to replace the continuing drops in compact disc sales
Who would have thought it would cut into the record cartels' profit when they can't overcharge for "Distribution"... Bastards
I'd say use Oil instead, like the guy with the aquarium computer, because it's cheaper than the $1000/L for florinert. But with the current trends for oil that may not hold up long.
There is one I've seen where a vacuum arm turns the pages and then a scanner bed is pressed down on top of them. the contents are then OCR'd and I believe it's put in a PDF from there. I can't remember which group is operating it, but there is definitely an automated solution out there.
The best part is that the controls can scale large movements down to very fine ones allowing procedures that aren't possible by hand, as well as filtering out normal muscle tremors. Though I'm with you, I'd like to see it used more often.
If it's going to print it out as is, you're pretty much screwed. If it's just going to print the article text though, you may be able to do a print preview and zoom it to 100% and read it that way.
You realize all this does is mess with your balance by stimulating the nerves for your inner ear, Right? This isn't mind control. I don't think you'd get much from an interrogation with something like "Tell us what we want to know or we'll make you lean to one side"

Knowing, not speculating, that this star is orbiting to within 17 light hours of a given point and and that the whole path is an elipse which is about 10 light days across on it's long axis, that star is reaching orbital speeds approaching.01c on the return swing. So it's definitely orbiting something *very* massive, and we obviously don't "see" something there.
Pretty strong evidence, if not conclusive confirmation, of the existance of a black hole there. If anyone wants to debate the existance of black holes, they're going to need to come up with some pretty interesting theories to explain that kind of movement.
I've only found 1 website selling these and it's a lot pricier than the original reviews lead on. Apparently there's only been 1 run of about 2000. Here's hoping for more.
There is one cover in particular of "Hit Me Baby" that stands out. It was on the movie soundtrack to "Ready To Rumble", performed by Dweezil and Ahmet Zappa.
Every person I've played it for has enjoyed the change in tone from the original and told me that The Brothers Zappa were able to make it a much more compelling song. Check it out sometime if you can.
With only 2 senators associated with Mass, I'd be really surprised if more than a few of them did read her document :)

While I agree with your post, I have to point out that in 5 years, the newest Windows will probably be 2006, judging by their release record :-P

It'll be in the clearence bin the day after x-mas, no question about it.
And just in time for X-Mas too!

I was totally with you until you got to .asf :D
Which one takes longer to duplicate the information from?

They already do.

I wonder if they have different PLUs?

You could just leave it in the on position and use VOX...
The service may be in beta for 5 years, but the set top box doesn't need to be.
They could probably snatch up as many of these as they need...

But, of course, that would require something other than apathy/ignorance to do
