Same problem for me. Its just fantastic to see it after spending an hour downloading the demo off of gametab. From initial reaction, maybe thats not a bad thing...
Gamecube has plenty of Players Choice games that are quite good and don't cost too much. Pikmin, Resident Evil and others are good if you haven't picked up already. I've also seen Timesplitters 2 and Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4 for cheap (30 in Canadian Dollars)
How ironic that Gamespy just put up a dedicated NGage page a few weeks ago. Advertising dollars are whats important, not credibility as seen by this gamespy article. A few months before articles like these, the editors where probably making credible observations, not just an attempt to appease advertisers. I'm just bitter I guess, plus the N Gage adverts border on insulting.
The article itself and the idea of getting commentary from gamespy staff is interesting, but I don't need to hear Fargo every 3 paragraphs reciting the same thing the previous person already said.
I'm looking forward to this one especially since it will have some decent multiplayer. Co op multiplay usually only works if you have more than 4 levels, though it was one of the best games I played in 2002.
It could have encompassed more characters, but left out such characters as Mario and Link because they are great character designs that most people know of and require little commentary. Its good they acknowledged Bubsy as that is one of my biggest regrets of the 16 bit era
"HH: This animal thing here, this is the longest I've ever been attached to a game. Julian, I could play this with your mother. Give us something in common. Besides sex."
Didn't Ion storm do the same thing with snide comments about Daikatana. They should be working instead of "STFU u loser" like posts though the point has been stated many times
I don't own a GBA but it does look appealing, with some games I would love to play, while the PSP seems to have only its hardware specifications to go on right now. I see no games yet, battery life, and launch titles. The N Gage looks awful to me because of how it loads games and the potential for 18 buttons for all games. Though I think the PSP doesn't have much to go on regarding software, I do believe that Nintendo shouldn't be complacent and be ready for the PSP.
I spent 8 minutes downloading the demo, 3 minutes of installing and load times, 3 minutes or play and 1 minute of uninstalling. The loading times bothered me and I didn't enjoy the bad locational damage. I shot a cop in the head 5 times and they didn't die so I had to finish the job with the shovel. Plus the twon and character were annoying. It was a waste of 15 minutes.
Sony's new handheld doesn't really excite me as there is no price tag and little about launch titles, though many would probably still buy it
The N Gage doesn't look good at all to me. It has blue tooth which is cool, but it looks like too many buttons and a bad way to put in game cards.
Half Life 2 looks good, Halo 2 looks alright even though I'm not a fan of the original, and Doom3 doesn't affect me. It will have nice graphics I'm sure, but I probably will stick with Half Life 2 instead.
X Box Live updates seem cool, but not enough for me to buy the system as it seems to be a selling factor for some. Conker does look good though.
Gamecube seems to have some impressive new titles, just I'm not crazy about getting an GBA to use all the new functions.
that conker will have decent gameplay and not just shock value and live support as its selling factor, as I went through that when some friends kept raving about unreal championship(shudder) before is came out...
McKids for the NES had two guys saving the world by helping ronald and his friends by getting burgers and fries, at the time i thought is was awesome as i was renting it and was 6 years old...
Optical drive could result in skipping plus disk scratches and damages could hurt the PSP's chances, plus I wouldn't want to buy all my favorite PS1 games again on a new format. It will need a really good software library to succeed, but then again, most people would probably just buy it anyways...
This double character thing makes me think of how it will make it easier since you wouldn't have to balance out the good and bad points of each driver. I'm not sure if this change will be good, but change can be good and it may be different giving a new exciting game...
Here come the "Nintendo is dying/failing" comments.
If its anything like last time, it looks like I will finally get it in 2009, thanks Atari!
"massive [graphical] performance boost... we call it 'fast shaders' - we're seeing a 30% to 50% [framerate] increase."
Finally, now my framerate can be 8 frames per second instead of 5 frames per second.
EA have its own developed characters? Are they going to use characters from SSX or something?
He was former president of Retro which made Metroid Prime and is making this game.
Talk about a fall from grace...

Bloodrayne is also going to made into a movie by the same director. Shudder.
to know if they will provide early adopters a chance to actually get these instead of shelling out for the hardware again.

I enjoyed reading the dumbest moments in gaming history more but they were both boring, plus the cheerleading after every post was inane.

Nintendo yet again brings the family together...

Seems that he has gotten what he deserves with a countersuit, though I could be wrong...

that the next 007 game as a third person perspective is in use that it won't be a repeat of tommorow never dies...
