since I was already buying the collectors set I'll end up only paying a little over 5 bucks for the DVD, that's less than renting it 2 times.
Personally I was able to tell that largo had quit working on the comic a few months before the announcement came. And I agree it really hasn't been as entertaining since he left.
On a related note I wonder if he will be getting any of the cash from this? it is chapter 0 which he was very involved with but he apparently has given up all rights to MT. We are talking about a man that nearly lost his job because he was hosting MT from work without their knowledge.
well many anime companies (adv being really notable in this regard) make their r1 disks playable in R1 R2 and R4 unless the Japanese licenser demands it to only be playable on R1 (and many don't). However it's not advertised on the box

* 65% of the game retailers said it will not be a hit, citing such examples as the failure of the Saturn Netlink, the overwhelming price of the PS2 HDD peripheral and modem, and the Dreamcast's inability to sell its networking despite the modem's inclusion with the system.
* "It looks too American," says to one fan
Squaresoft has been having problems getting online content in it's games (ffx was to have a significant online play which was scraped) and the fact that the have already decided that FF 12 will NOT be online shows that they are getting cold feet over the online move.
Black Isle (which is related to Bioware) tried to use GURPS (it was to be the foundation for Fallout) but Steve Jackson games were apparently too much of a pain in the ass to deal with so they striped out the gurps system and created their own.
Damn I don't think their is anything like that in my town or I would rent it out myself (damn hick town at least Cost of living is cheep):(. But I bet all of us will be taking a long lunch to go see in anyways so it's all good.

EP 8 has also been dropped: more than likely for the reasons you posted (the hijacking at the start). I'm also doubtful that ep 19 (which features a terrorist that blows up large buildings including one that looks a lot like the WTC) will be shown.

eh the first 2 ep's hare very few edits and was edited less than it was when it was first shown in Japan (before it moved to the wowwow pay channel)
